  1. Cool I am glad that helped. Yeah I am running a 190 main and a 45 pilot. That should remedy that bog. One other thing to look at is what needle you are running. If you have the DEK needle than I would put the clip all the way to the bottom until you can get an EEK needle. Then put the clip for the EEK needle in the third position. That should help as well. That bog sounds like the same problem I had a few weeks ago. I just had mine out at Glamis and it ran like a champ!
  2. I had the same problem with mine as well and it ended up being the idle screw. I had to run mine in pretty much all the way until the spring was completely compressed. This should help it idle a little better. See if that helps. Snop helped me dial my jetting in and I am running an EEK needle in the 3rd, 190 main and a 45 pilot at sea level so your jetting sounds pretty good from what I see depending on your altitude. Let us know.
  3. Thanks for everything Snop! The Shee ran AWESOME out in the dunes this weekend with no issues! The jetting is dead on now with no more bog. I appreciate it! Ken
  4. OK cool. I am heading out to Glamis tomorrow so I will let you know how shee performs when I get back on Sunday.
  5. Snop...OK I have fixed the problem. I am in San Diego right now and stopped over at Motoworld and they had an EEK needle in stock. I slapped it in and what do you know. It runs like a dream in the bottom end now. It revs out nice too. What a difference. Now I still have the 45 pilot jet still installed. Will I be OK with that or is that too lean for sea level and my mods. Thanks again bro. You truly are the 2 into 1 king!!
  6. It is kinda hard to describe what it is sounding like so hopefully I am not confusing you guys. What I can do though is shoot a short little video in the morning with my camera and PM it to you so you can hear it. Would that help? In the meantime I am going to go ahead and drop the needle to the last position until I get my new one.
  7. I hear what you are saying. I live in Central Cali so my options for shops are limited right now. They had the 45 jet in stock however I had to order a needle. I ordered an eek needle. I currently have a dek in the carb now. They are telling me that it will not be in til Fri and I am leaving to head to San Diego tomorrow morning and then to Gordons from there. Is there any way I can make the dek needle work for now? I am not sure how to describe the sound. It almost sounds like when you turn the fuel off to run the carb out of gas and then is makes that loud bog right before it shuts off. Thats what it sounds like when you blip the throttle...hesitant not gurgling. Thanks man for your help. I am open for anything right now to get me through the weekend. Ken
  8. Snop...well I put in a 45 pilot jet and it seems like the issue got worse. Here is what is happening. After I let it warm up I rev it out a couple of times to clear it out and then when I start blipping the throttle it acts like it is going to stall. It will idle just fine, but when I go to rev it, it bogs really bad and acts like it is going to choke out. Same thing happens when I ride it. The bottom end just falls on its face. It is really powerful though when it comes on the pipe so I dont know what the deal is. Also sometimes when I start it cold, it will fire and it idles like it is not getting gas. Yes I have checked the fuel delivery, filter and jets for clogging and everything is clear. Let me know. Thanks again guys.
  9. Cool man thanks. I will swing by the shop today and pick up some pilot jets. I may have to order a needle though so I may not have that one in time for the trip. I will let you know what happens. Thanks all.
  10. needle is in the third position. Right in the middle. Any suggestions on pilot size?
  11. Hey guys, I am getting the ole Shee ready for the Glamis trip for this X-mas weekend and I am having some low end bogging issues. Is my pilot jet out of range? I have been fighting this bad low end bog since I got the carb setup and I would love to resolve it! Other than that the mid and top end run awesome! I noticed that it got a little worse once I added the cool head and domes. My mods are in my signature. Thanks Ken
  12. I am heading to Gordon Wells for the weekend of the 26th. I have to leave Sunday morning though. I am coming from Central Cali so I do not have anyone to camp with yet. My cousin is coming out for a day trip on the 27th. Anyone going to be there that I can join camps with? Let me know. Ken
  13. E-mail me your address and I will go box it up and get a price for ya tomorrow.

  15. I have a spare front lower stock black plastic that is race cut in great condition off an 06 Shee. There is a crack where the bolt mounts to the gas tank on the left side which can easily be fixed with the plastic welder repair kit from Rocky Mountain ATV. Let me know if you want pics. It is just sitting in my garage collecting dust. Just pay the shipping and you can have it.
