  1. I haver a set of trail tech billet lights. They are about $112 with the stock location mounts.
  2. I have 2 stock footpegs welded together on my bike. I have made 3 or 4 sets now. Feet dont slide off as easy now.
  3. Completely agreed! I dont think dynoport worries about that kind of stuff, cause they just dont need to with how much sled business they do.
  4. Well I got the flywheel lightened, its headed to Dave Moore right now. I may change the domes and start running 50/50 race gas, but it all depends on where the compression is at when I get the top end back on. As for al the other parts, I am just keeping the stuff I had. Carbon tech low-mid reeds, 2 into 1 intake with a single 35mm pwk and K&N. Adjustable timing plate, heavy duty clutch, dynoport 2 into 1 pipe, and start at 14/46 gearing with 22x11x8 10 paddle super lights.
  5. You know, not a lot of people know this but dynoport makes drag pipes. They are probably the leading snowmobile pipe manufacturer, and they have an in house dyno that they use and tune with all the time. I talked to Rich Daly the owner, he said he has built some drag bikes before. Dynoport web listing for pre made banshee pipes
  6. Dont waste your money on anything but a hauler paddle. The whole v paddle turning better thing is bs too. 8 paddle haulers.
  7. Its a good idea to keep the balance tube, but its not exactly a must have part.
  8. I used to have a sears craftsman that was about 30 psi off. I also had an S&K tester that was about 20 psi off.
  9. dont forget to get wrist pin bearings also.
  10. Its the exhaust duration on his cheetah cylinders, could also be his elevation.
  11. porting on the cheetah's and your dome size is what affected it. Go down in dome size and check your squish with the new domes.
  12. I ride in oregon at sea level, I check my compression with gauge at my house which is 605 feet above sea level.
  13. Stock banshee compression is about 130 psi. From what my motor builder has told me, high compression you can run with pump gas is 170 psi. On another note, I just ordered wiseco pistons of Rocky Mountain $140 for a set shipped 2nd day to me.
  14. Motor guys never really tell ya exactly. I talked to him again this morning and he said they would be raising the exhaust port. I imagine they will open up the transfers and what not also.
  15. I dont know, the owner over there said it sounded like I had enough stuff going on to keep my torque up so he was going to focus the power on midrange and the rest of the working power range of the pipe. Apparently he has done quite a few port jobs for his 2 into 1 pipe, and tailored off what the riders liked, and what made good numbers on their in house dyno.
  16. Im having dynoport do it.
  17. OK, I guess the fact that both my old motors, both my cousins motors, my uncles motor, and my brother in laws motor all have 165-170 psi comp on pump gas doesn't mean anything. I do know that my comp. will change with porting, and I know it pretty much depends on exhaust port timing. I was just checking to see if you guys had any knowledge as to how much change it may be. I am aware I will probably have to buy new domes though.
  18. Bastards, they get us every time!
  19. According to my motor guy that has done all my previous drag stuff 170+pump gas= ok! I used to run 165 psi in my drag bike on 92 octane pump gas.
  20. I alreay have all the bolt on stuff, I just need porting and pistons. I want to run it at 165-170 range so I can stick with 92 octane pump gas.
  21. I actually called dynoport, and they said they would port it for me. Said they developed a port job around there pipe on their dyno.
  22. If I am all stock motor now with 20cc domes and its 155psi comp, what will my comp. go to after just being ported with the 20cc domes? I want it to be at 165-170 psi range with my port work.
  23. You would be suprised with what people will do and put up with to get the best stuff for a bike. I used to have a JD Racing motor in my old Banshee, I was at Sandfest in 1993 and Watched Jim Duncan pretty much act like a friggin idiot in his trailer with the guy who was riding for him in the world's fastest Banshee contest against K&T Racing. The rider put up with everything, then Jim started in on me for having his motor in my bike with FMF gold series pipes on it. I told him he couldn't pay me enough to run T5's on it. Then I went out and took 4th in the 350 modified class drags, left airplane hill and went on a play ride on the same bike. These motor guys can be a real piece of work sometimes.
