  1. 19cc domes at 3,000 feet will make less compression than at sea level. 19cc at 3k is like 158 psi compression on a stock bore, stock port bike. You cant gauge octane off dome size, its got to be gauged off squish and compression actuals. Your pilot jet is way to huge, you never said what needle is in it, I would think that main at 3,000 ft would be too rich. Did you try swapping the plug wires side to side to see if the problem changed cylinders? Exhaust port height will also change the compression reading.
  2. Too much for pump gas, but I would run race gas and that compression for a trail bike.
  3. I say without knowing whats done to the bike, there is no way to recommend either setup.
  4. You can use a nology or a dyna. The dyna coils bolt up directly to the stock mounts. Nology coils have to have a bracket made. I have a dyna, it works fine. My friend has a nology, it works fine also.
  5. Why do you need to know how much hp it has to decide if you want to port it? If its fast enough, then leave it alone. If it needs to be faster, then do more work to it.
  6. No, you are for asking this question. I saw on the first page, someone managed to get your hp number nailed down within a 20hp window (40-50's hp range) There is no way you would need to know, or would benefit by knowing what you asked. Only reason you did it, is cause youyr going to tell someone what it is, or your trying to figure out if you can beat someone who is telling you what theirs is.
  7. ooohhh, you might hit 13mph. Better make sure your colossal valve is clean first though.
  8. 1.76hp! Gonna need to know tire size, but probably 11mph on the top speed.
  9. Everything I have dynoed against the pro circuits has failed to make more low-mid torque and hp. Yes that includes the pt mids and a dynoport 2 into 1 pipe. I run pro circuits now, and my seat of the pants dyno says much approved.
  10. slides in correctly, choke crossover tube on?
  11. Why would you run a degree key and an advance plate at the same time? Never run a degree key, they shear and are weak.
  12. I actually felt dumber after reading this thread.
  13. I cant believe you had it in your driveway under a tarp. I live in a pretty nice neighborhood, and mine stays in the garage, chained and bolted to the floor. There is also an alarm sensor on my big garage door.
  14. Well you just needed to try one cdi out to tell its not your problem. What about the voltage regulator and light wiring?
  15. Hes not riding a rocket ship, I say 28mm. Maybe 30mm at the most.
  16. Your gonna need an ohm meter for the next part. Only other thing I can think of without test equipment is inspect the voltage regulator, and the lighting harness. What exactly made you want to try 3 cdi's? Didn't something tell you there was a problem elsewhere when you tried the first one and nothing changed? Is the RS stator a 200 watt unit?
  17. did you drop the flywheel or hit it with a hammer at all?
  18. I setup the new router last night. It kicks ass! No more lag on live, didn't get booted off when I first logged in, and best part is it automatically detects when I turn on the xbox and I get all the bandwidth I need in the house.
  19. I need your address so I can mail you a brown paper bag. When you get it, I need you to go down to trinity, walk into the lobby of their building and set it on fire in the middle of the floor and run out. Thats whats up with trinity.
  20. Reed spacers on a small bore motor on the dyno and ride comparison added minimal midrange (.25hp), but they killed some off the top end (1.3hp at peak rpm.). It wasn't really worth it to run them on anything much smaller than a 400cc stroker motor. Vforce reeds is kind of going backwards. Thats a high flow top end reed cage, they generally make minimal top end hp in this setup. Compared to a stock cage with a carbon tech reedcage, the carbon tech kicks its ass in the midrange by making 2 more hp. Riding the bike, you can feel a little extra pull from the carbon tech also. Adding compression is alsways good, that will get you some more power everywhere.
  21. My cousin took one of our friends z400 carb off to do a jet kit. He put it on and its is flowing gas out the vent tubes and when he does get it started it runs like crap. I am obviously gonna know the floats may be stuck or there is crap in the needle and seat. Does anyone have any other ideas as to whats wrong? Does anyone one know what carb is on it stock?
  22. The gamer routers wont break signal at all and prioritze the game line vs the rest of the internet being used in the house. I also needed some better wireless, so I wanted something with good range and I got a signal extender. I hooked up the new dlink modem this am, and can already tell the connection is working faster with the new cable modem in place. I am also going to be hosting the neighbors xbox wireless on my router cause he is too cheap to get high speed. We can also play head to head if he is on my network. It was just time to up date the 5 year old internet setup I had. I am already happy with just the cable modem I installed today. I should have the router by tomorrow.
  23. does it have lights?
  24. You want to do Coos Bay at Horsefall campground, and winchester bay at Discovery point Park. Dont bother with Florence or Sand Lakes.
