No guy on here has your exact port job, so to make the proper recommendation to get you right on the edge between race gas and super unleaded we are going to need to know exhaust port height or current compression with which head your currently running. So glad I had to repeat myself.
My bike runs 18cc domes in it at 185 psi compression because of the exhaust port height. Most bikes with those domes would be running at around 195-200 psi with 18cc domes. SO, thats why its important to know, othewrwise you could end up buying at least 2 sets of domes to get where you want to be.
Gonna need to know the exhaust port height, what fuel you want to run, and your elevation. If you dont know the exhaust height, then we need to know your current compression and which domes you have or if its a milled stock head.
I work for NW safe co in Washington. We are the #1 Liberty dealer in the Northwest.
I have a dlink di-624 and it seemed to work with just plugging it in when I bought it. I wanted something with a dedicated line for the xbox 360 so I bought this new gamer one.
I would run the dyna regardless, it does work and the advance on curve 3 livens the bike up alot. You can run the plate at +4 or send the cdi to someone and have them advance the curve and run the plate at 0 degrees. Nice thing is with a dyna you can run curve 3 at +4 advance, then make a drag racing curve and customize it to advance down low and retard up top at high rpm.
Your trying to drag race this thing on dirt with turf tamers? Your gonna have a hard time trying to beat this zilla with a Dr. Q motor in it. How bad did it get you off the line with all the torque those things have?
We aren't going to have anyone we dont know of build it, this LC guy is definitely someone I never heard of. Its either gonna be a Patriot, ILR, Dave Moore, Packard, RDZ, Twister, RSR, or a redline bike.
I cant believe everyone is answering this without knowing what this guy wants to do with his pipes, and whats done to his bike. A little more input, then I am willing to provide an answer.
yeah, you can still use them. Basically the stuffer has been opened a little around the sides and then contoured in towards the reed petals. Worst case scenario if you didn't want to mess with it, you could get replacement stuffers from moto Tsanarri. But I ran those cages with dual carbs on the dyno back in december and it worked just fine.
Will any standard cool head bolt right onto a cheetah or cub? Or do you have to buy one for those cylinder setups? Whats a chettah, and Whats a cheetah cub?
Usually curve 3 works the best depending on which pipes you run. If you dont have a timing plate, you can reprogram it and advance your ignition timing. I reprogram them for guys all the time now. Dyna also makes a coil kit for the Banshee.
So my cousin decided to build a drag bike. I dont know everything about them anymore so I want you guys to start naming off some of the crucial stuff we need. He has a stock frame he is gonna chop up and add a sub frame to. I think he wants to build probably a 7 mill something??????????? Cheetah, small block, etc........ What about pipes, he wants out of frames, but they will probably need to have silencers or legalizers on them. I think we may run E85 in it, or full race gas. I was thinking of having mp, packard or K&T do the port work.
