  1. My experience on the 7mill cheetah was it made 5 more HP and had a broader torque curve with the pc's compared to the ptr mids.peak rpm was only a variance of about 100rpm.this was after resleeving it and dropping the port durations.
  2. You made a not so educated choice by running a drag race cylinder setup with a mid-bottom end pipe like a pro circuit. Pro circuits on a stock motor make power til about 8600 rpm. The cheetah was made as a high flow drag race cylinder setup. The stock unported exhaust port height in a cheetah is way higher than that of a stock cylinder, thats why the pro circuits ran like crap. I know a guy with ptr mids and a cheetah setup that was not impressed with ptr mids on his bike even after he put in a 7mm crank and had porting done. Its not a low range power setup! He had to have them resleeved and have the ports dropped down to about a 175-180 degree exhaust duration to make him happy.
  3. 140-170 degrees on the Oregon Dunes.
  4. Do a search, there are countless threads with the same questions asked here.
  5. They are $658.00 with chrome. I googled searched "Paul Turner Pipes" then went to the duncan site and added a set to the cart and clicked the chrome option. Then viewed basket.
  6. I've seen those fall out occassionally on older motors. The best way to go would be to turn a new one on the lathe that is a few thousandths bigger so it will press back in.
  7. garage sale section. http://jjandaracing.com/ Boss Racing
  8. I would run stock reed cages with carbon tech low or mid tension reeds. No need for a drag race or high flow setup like the vf3 on your application.
  9. Whats done to the bike?
  10. no, that would be an issue elsewhere. Flywheel magnet, coil, plug, compression, reeds, etc.....
  11. I want to do something kind of organized. Everyone who has ever had a bad RS stator, go to the Ricky Stator site and email them telling them about your experience. I am going to call them this week and ask them if they have had any issues. I want to see if they tell me the truth after everyone has emailed them. I have asked her a few times, and she always says they haven't had any problems. Post here after you send the email to them.
  12. Nobody is looking at this logically. If you sell the complete 2 into 1 intake with everything that goes with it on ebay, you have enough money for like one whole carburetor, and half the second one. Then you can buy carburetors that actually should be on the bike instead of settling for something that wont increase topend and will kill bottom end power.
  13. If you have a topend port job, then this is a no brainer.definitely run 2 carbs. I would definitely run no bigger than a set of 32mm carbs from what you described you ride like and have done to the bike.lots of people run huge carbs at only the cost of low-mid velocity and no topend gain (35mm carbs on a dune port 350 with mid-top pipes is a good example of what not to do).
  14. White smoke (steam) is burning antifreeze. Bluish smoke is trans fluid. 28v is not a valid keihin needle number. It will say in example DEK or EEJ.
  15. 35MM PWK, NO LARGER THAN A 36MM.
  16. Whats done to the bike, and where do you ride it?
  17. What size needle is in it?
  18. I dont run an advance plate because i programmed my 5 degrees of advance into my dyna cdi on curve 3.
  19. You dont run a single carb setup on a drag bike with in frames or out of frames. This topic has been covered numerous times, there is a giant dyno thread on it. Do a search.
  20. yes, most of the time if you didn't buy the program kit then you need to run an adj. plate also.
  21. If he raises the exhaust port it will change the compression.
  22. PWK 35mm= 200 main, eej needle, clip 2nd notch down from the top, 45 pilot jet, air screw 1.5 turns out from all the way in. Hopefully your running a pod filter?
  23. 1-3 are advanced, 4 is stock. Run curve 3, its the best one if you dont have a program kit. Also need to still advance your timing plate. All this depends on compression and octane though.
  24. well no one is gonna want them if you cant tell us about the port job. how are we supposed to know what its ported for?
  25. He did, He works for Boeing now.
