  1. Call Moto-Man.com and order a sheet of the FactoryFX carbon fiber vinyl (thick like a set of graphics and has 3m adhesive, plus it's only $7-8 a sheet). Overlay it on your handguards or part of them.
  2. Bought a new ride about 3 weeks ago, couldn't resist after looking at these things and drooling for 6 months. It's an 08 KTM 525XC. I added some powermadds w/ the wraparound guards and a full set of Maxxis Razr2's even though these things come stock with regular Razr's and a ton of other stuff. The cdi has two different curves preset from the factory so I bought the optional KTM handlebar mounted switch so you can select the "hot" or detuned curve on the fly. This is the fastest stock quad I have ever ridden, period...they claim 53hp stock for the 525xc and that's high for a 4 stroke. I can't stress how much torque this thing has. Anyways, here it is...
  3. The Hitachi stuff is actually pretty good, I played around with one n the tool cabinet at work and I liked it. Lincoln is pretty good too.
  4. Hey Ellison, where did you get the rims and tires for the Eaton? I bought a like new 2004 Predator 50 2stroke for my son last year and I think most of the stuff is interchangeable between the two. If you could steer me towards some good aftermarket parts, I'd really appreciate it.
  5. I've got Fox Forma's and I really like them alot.
  6. Anything I've ever bought from ESR (4 stroke and 2 stroke) has been great. There may be other products out there that produce a little more power but ESR's whole product line is great quality and their customer service is great too.
  7. Wal-Mart. Go to the shipping section where they sell tape and cardboard boxes, they have it in rolls on a stick and it's around $8 bucks. I buy it all the time.
  8. Thanks for the link, I just ordered some jets from www.jetsrus.com. I got a notification less than 20 minutes later that they already created a shipping label. I used carbpartswarehouse.com in the past but they have a $20 minimum even when you only need a couple jets.
  9. Depending on how long the rezzie line is, I'd mount it on the outer frame rail right under the gas tank so you can reach the compression adjustment without getting off the seat.
  10. Go to atvriders.com and pm member "x.system", he'll probably be able to help you out. I think he can custom make just about any size bushing you want.
  11. The loss probably didn't hurt as bad as Michigan's season opener.
  12. Nice ride, I use to have a 2000 WS-6 Trans Am in red but sold it about 4 years ago when I had my son. I was at the GMC/Pontiac dealer yesterday and the service manager told me that the new Trans Am concept will look like 77-78 style but I haven't seen any pictures.
  13. I'll call my friend and find out if there is a decibel limit. I'm pretty sure you'll be alright if the 4 stroke race pipes pass.
  14. Me too. I just got my 250R rear shock back from GT Thunder today. A revalve and respring, plus a new bottom bumper and return shipping only cost me $188. This was the second rear shock I've had them do (I have their front 450R revalves right now on my 250r also) and the turnaround time was less than a week.
  15. When you show up to race, I'm pretty sure you'll have to pay a fee and join the AMA since most of the races are sanctioned. I'll ask my friends, they race the C and B classes. Jared
  16. I have a FMF Fatty and Powercore2 silencer off of my 86 250R, pipe is in good shape other than the expansion chamber having a few dings where it bends close to a-arm bolts which aren't to visible (pretty common). The rest of the pipe is in excellent shape, I'm selling because I have another exhaust and this is just collecting dust. PM me your email if interested and I'll send you some pics.
  17. I have a really nice set of Azonic 7/8" bars that are polished style with a nice injection molded pad. These are cr hi bend and I originally gave $75 for...I'll take $30 shipped, the bars are on the Banshee in my signature.
  18. I've got a clean OEM shifter in great shape off of a 2004 that I'll take $15 shipped for.
  19. I bought a kit like these off ebay for my 250R and they were all individually labeled and packaged for the different parts. Like mentioned above, I used anti-seize on every bolt to keep from stripping them. You'll probably end up with extras no matter what kit you buy if you've installed any aftermarket parts since you won't have a use for alot of bolts for parts you've removed.
  20. He fit the role in Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I like all of his stuff. Cool pic!
  21. I would run it through a few heat cycles by letting it idle up to operating temp and then cut it off and let it cool completely. Ride it for about 15-20 minutes at a time after that varying the throttle speed but try not to really stab the throttle or ride it wide open. I would ride it for awhile using lower throttle positions and then increase the range of throttle everytime you ride it. You can rev it some, also try not to ride at one set speed. Let it cool completely in between the rides. After a few gallons of gas you should be set. I'd run it a little rich for the break in also, seems like this lets the parts polish themselves a little better. I know everyone else has their own method, but this seems to work well for me. Hope this helps, maybe someone else will chime in and give their 2 cents.
  22. Anyone ever try Blue Marble? I'm curious about how it works.
  23. I'll take the 50 pilot, PM me a shipped price and your paypal info. Jared
