His harness is an 89 and its a Round style plug. From 87-94 was round, 95 by its self was diff then from 96-2010 is the same which is a square plug. Except they added a rear brake light to the tail light in 2002. But that dont matter in this case. Easy enough to cut the old style plug off and get a $3 toyota plug (same shit) or equivalent and have the new plug on in not even 3 minutes. No joke.

Damn you grabbed some 27.5's already..shit that was quick.

You will need 27.5 pilots man ..then turn your air screws ALL the way in and then back them out 1-1/2 turns and that will clean it up just right, im sure of it. Might have to tweak the air screws on the sides of your carbs a lil left or right but go 1-1/2 and start there. Let me know.

I know you have 340 mains Thats not your issue as you said. Your low end is the issue so tell me what the PILOT JETS are. Then we can go from there and with setting the air screws mang.

Lets see some pics. Where are you located. Location plays a big roll on price. How bad are the cyl walls? Did both pistons let go? Any damage to the crank? Or pieces floating around down there? Need quite a bit more info man....Pics are a must.

Well pull the bowl off the carb and pull the pilot out (small flat head screw driver) and tell me the number stamped on it. then we can go from there bud.

I would bring $1400 and offer him that only IF, it checks out that its not stolen. You need to check that out. Also, check the motor with a comp gauge and ALL the suspension bearings and bushings front to back. Lift the rear some and shake it side to side and wiggle the front end around to see whats worn and whats not. Look at the sprockets, chain and all cables to see if there worn out also. But most importantly like i said above. 100% for sure check the motor with a comp gauge or don't even consider buying it. If you don't have one, well borrow one or you might as well buy one cause you will need one anyways. Then just go over All of it checking for the obvious stuff like loose nuts and bolts and anything leaking...even pull the tranny dipstick and see what color it is and if theres alot of shavings or smells burnt. Just all that type of shit, also check the brakes and how the clutch is or isnt when your rippin it lol. Also if it shifts properly through ALL six gears. From the small pics i can see, it looks decently clean. Then take it for a burn around and see whats up.

$30 "might" get you the chrome on a snap on lol. Hell i payed just aover 200 for my fixed, 5-75 ft. lb., 3/8" drive. And about $330 for my Fixed, 50-300 ft. lb., 1/2" drive. When i first bought some torque wrenches a while back now, i cheeped out and bought half ass shit and thats what i got was shit. Basically if you want the best stuff that will last for a life time, well then you gotta buck up from the get go....just how everything is with tool especially if you want shit done right. Just save up and get the good stuff the first time around bud. Good luck. Go buy a Fixed-Ratchet, 200-1000 ft. lb., 1" drive and there almost 2 grand from snap on. lol
