  1. Looking for a rear shock, either OEM or aftermarket (220 lb rider). Also looking for a stock steering stem. Both for an 04. Text me 5163155718

  3. Possiblly a twisted steering stem? Bueller?
  4. So a few months ago i had a pretty close call on the banshee. First time riding it on the trails with the new ported cylinders broken in. Jeff does one hell of a port job. Anyway, i didnt make a turn and clipped a tree with my left front wheel, i went one way, the banshee went the other and we landed about 30 feet apart. The the bike flipped a few times and landed upside down. Now it seems like the handlebar clamp jumped a few splines and is offset to the right. Everything else is straight, or at least appears to be. Im sure it could be 100 different things, but has anyone had the top clamp turn like this?
  5. I just made the same switch... you can usually find decent used sets on here for around 300ish
  6. My PWKs hit the arm, just bent it down a litle bit.. few light taps with a hammer, didnt give me too much trouble and hasnt effected my clutch operation
  7. If it helps, Im at sea level too, 30 PWK carbs ( pretty close) and T5s, Im at 150 mains, 45 pilots, and one turn out on the air screw with a K+N filter
  8. Ive been running the tusk on a FAST ported motor with 30pwks, cool head and T5s... Havent had any issues... Im also running 3 HD springs and 3 OEM... (Running ATF )

    ASR A-Arms?

I run the ASR arms (+2+1)... as far as quaility goes, i am happy, installation wasnt too bad, the adjustment is a little tedious setting the caster and camber, but really isnt all that bad. I got the heims and wish that i got the ball joints instead. Mine took about two months from date of order until they got to my doorstep. I called after a few weeks and complained, they threw in heavy duty tie rods and tie rod ends for nothing. The PC is god except for a chip in one spot. I would have sent them back, but i was worried it would take another 2 months. overall I am very happy with the ride though.

  11. So i think im ready for a new shit lever, the rubber tip on the stock one is all but gone, and i missed a few shifts the other day because my mx boots kept slipping off. Kinda pissed me off a little. So i have been looking around and i like the look of the pro design aluminum , my only concern is how do they hold up? The aluminum going over the steel splines seems like it would strip. I tend to be a little rough on my shifter. I also saw a steel one with a folding tip, made by tusk i believe. Anyone have experience with either of these?
  12. So ive been doing a bunch of plug chops lately, and its a bit of a pain in the ass.. Ive been using a hacksaw to do it and just cutting down along the ceramic. Is there a better way? a metal lathe seems like it would be perfect for this, dont have one though... how are you guys doing it? and are you cutting all the way around? or just one side of the threads off? Thanks
  13. Im moving to VA next week from NY so i like the idea of Busco... Def count me in
  14. I am just getting the banshee dialed in after getting it back from Jeff a few weeks ago.. Im have a trail port done by him, 30 PWKs, K+N Filter & Air box lid, Boyeson super stock reeds, cool head with 21cc domes. Im pretty much right on the money with the mains @ 150, seem to run perfect and a touch on the rich side.. I started at 50 pilots and it was sputtering and running like dog shit, and the plugs were soaked on the bottom end so i went down to 45s... The thing is an animal now on the bottom. The plus just seem a little dry when i do a quarter and half throttle plug chop. So im guessing i should drop the clip one ro richen it up a little and richen up the air screw a turn or so. My biggest question was should i have went from 50s to 45s? or was it too big of a jump?
