  1. I had 2 top ends ported by him at the same time. They are great stage 4 ports. Very clean work and fast turnaround time.

  6. They were priming the clutch cylinder/piston and the bottom of the slave made a popping sound and began to leak. The popping noise was heard and then when they removed the tranny we saw the leake at the bottom of the slave. I bought the slave but they say its the pump inside leaking out the gear oil. I called autozone and they said a pump came up in the computer, but they are never too bright there. This all started with a damn clutch job and now its a huge headache because its my work truck.
  7. i had my clutch changed and the guys who changed it are telling me that the manual tranny has a broken pump inside. the only thing i could find on the tranny is a slave cylinder and the master cylinder. What the heck are they talking about????
  8. Just take extra jets. My builder told me i had to run 400's with my porting.
  9. Maybe you have to change your sprocket setup. i know i have to change my setup when i ride in sand and dirt. If you are on flat land can you hit sixth easy in WOT? if you can't you have to change your setup.
  10. I tried removing the packing and it sounded shitty. When i repacked my silencers they ended up tight as hell and the sound was very similar to a drag bike, cripsy and sharp. The throaty sound was anoying. The only time when my pipes are too loud is when I change my rear tires with my bike on, but i love that sound.
  11. I'm bringing this over from the repair section. My bike cuts out at high rpm's and i think its something electrical, but i got comments that 410 jets are way to big for my setup. All my mods and elevation in my sig. Please recomend what you think my jetting should be. I had my bike set up with 400 mains on a p4 kit and it leaned out on me and costed me an engine.
  12. 400's too big? Even with a full drag port? Before i ported i was running 300 on a stock bore. Now i'm at 400 with a drag port and a p6 kit in my bike. What do ou guys think????????
  13. Where do you buy these boots. dealer sells only complete module and they are not sold on ebay.
  14. Where do you buy them? The dealer only sells the whole ignition module. Can i use any plug boot or does it have to be something special?
  15. i have cleaned up the carbs every time i change the jets. Ive gone from a 470 down to a 400 and the same problem the whole way. The carbs really dont seem to be the problem. About a year ago the flywheel came loose and was hitting the pick up coil and it scraped it down a bit, but that was a year ago. i really dont want to start buying and changing parts. All my mods are in my sig.
  16. Happy 4th of july. I've been battleing the jetting on my bike for a LONG time. i get it to run great and then out of no where the engine sputters at high rpms. i have a bad feeling its gonna be more than a jetting issue now, so how do i check the pick up, the cdi, and the ignition. If theres something else i have to check let me know how to check it.

  18. I just went out and tried my new offset rims this weekend and they felt really good. When i rode through rough trails and big rocks it was a little bit stiffer to stear but besides that it was a way smoother ride all around.

  20. When i got it i painted the wheels and bumper black then took this pic. A few weeks ago, about the same now.

  24. I have seen others do it and that never came up. Is there a way to change that joint?
