i ordered new stator and i got the one with the wrong plug on it. All the wires match in color. Can i just splice the wires together? I searched and found post that old stators wont work with new cdi's and i read that all stators work with all cdi's. What do i do? My bike is an 00 and the stator has a round plug on it.

I have a 200w rmstator, i got it in the mail last week and it came broken. the guys pretty cool about returning it, but i have no idea if it works.

If the water does not come out super how it could be your radiator cap or you have a leak, so check compression. If its getting too hot too quick, check jetting and timing. david

Clicking in the cylinders usually comes from worn out piston rings. Check your compression and have fun rebuilding. david

Sounds like a problem i had last year. After about 3 months of jetting and troubleshooting i swapped out the ignition coil, stator, pick up coil, feul lines, feul valve, and fixed a couple of nicked wires. Then i cleaned and synced my carbs and the problem vanished. Point being that it could be a few things in combination. My ign coil and stator tested fine with an ohm meter but then i megged then later they were both leaking. david

You think thats messed up. I've been clearing bogus utility accounts, cell phone accounts, credit card accounts...so on... for about three years now. TR6's Coolhead or noss head 21cc domes timing plate reeds (anything better than stock) billet impeller Whatever you guys got, just pm me with a price and i'll get an ok for it.

I had the same problem here about a year ago. I rebuilt my clutch and put in the heavy duty springs and the problem went away...i think.

I removed the whole coolant bottle and extra hosing all together. The hose coming out of the radiator was routed to the front of the bike and secured. I haven't had an overheating problem.

I agree. Thats a great idea.

I tapped it around and dipped in it gas for a while and it was way easier to blow through. Hope the prob is fixed.

I took it off and removed the hose. When I blew in it it seemed restricted. Normal? I was able to blow through though.

what about the venting? Could this restrict gas from flowing?

Is there jetting range that would require a dual feed valve? If so, what is the range?

how do i know if its running short on feul? do you think the 410's consume more than the stock valve can supply. how about the reserve in the bowls? My feul lines have been changed to aftermarket clear lines does that matter because the inner diameter looks the same.

I went to glamis for turkey day and my bike was dying going up oldsmobile. On flat land or dunes it was fine. When i would go uphill and it would die out. I would lay off the throttle and then gun it again to make it to the top. I checked my floats on my carbs and they were fine. What else should i check? I was running 410 mains and the rest is it my sig. Please help me im trying to go out for new years and want to fix this fast.

I keep fouling plugs and my bike runs great. I was told that there might be built up oil at the bottom of my case. Is there a way to check without removing the top end?

does the back piece of the nosshead fit on the coolhead? my friend lost the piece of his coolhead and needs it pretty bad. It the hose piece that is towards the back of the bike.
