  1. while your at it you might as well buy yourself a 4 mil crank before you get it ported. you know you want it! I didnt do it the first time around and I ended up kicking myself in the butt for it down the road when I had to sell my polished cylinders to get new ones ported for my stroker.
  2. that would be wrong, the 36's are the same carb body's as the 38 and 39 just bored smaller http://www.keihin-us.com/am/products/pwk.php
  3. how long do I have to wait before I can run my bike when I reassemble the cases with threebond 1211? I'm putting it back together tonight and we were supposed to go Ice racing sunday. is it safe to run it or shall I wait till monday... it says on the tube that it fully cures in 3 days..
  4. ^^^ I do the same thing but with Carb cleaner or brake cleaner, works great and its a little more common in a garage  ... I have to fight with mine to get them off. And dont overtight them its more bad than good. tends to kinda squize them off
  5. Nice ride man! I use to have one off them same year, Wolfsburg as well. Great Car! Is it chipped? its like putting a pipe on a Banshee! Crazy difference. I had a revo software, she would push 25 peek psi and a solid 19 stabilised. Anyway good luck with the car and enjoy the ride! here some pics off the one I had
  6. somebody should snag these! they are nice carb for a mild motor. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Bans...sspagenameZWDVW
  7. Well now thats funny I've never done any business with them yet and that pretty much killed their chances of me calling them up for something one day. for what I could read on shiftnrace they are the shit but that prove that you CANT trust everything you see in forums
  8. He did my first porting, cant beat its price and turnaround time! pretty fast stock stroke drag port. but i realised that a drag port was not the best for what we do up here so i sold em and got another set of stockers dune ported for a 4mil
  9. there is GSF Racing up in Quebec that does it. seems allright for what i can see on shiftnrace.com. http://forum.shiftnrace.com/viewtopic.php?t=637 I think that pro tech up here in Halifax can do it too, I never seen any banshee's that they have done but they are kickass in the Motocycle industry http://www.protechsusp.com/mods.htm but shipping to the states is really not that bad, I'm on my 2nd set of US ported cylinders and shipping is 25-30$ each way, about 10$ more that shipping into Canada. but I think its well worth it to spend the extra little bit to get them done by a reputable Banshee guy.
  10. its real name is naphta. like he said its used for camping stuff
  11. yeah I segond that I turned mine into a plus 2 and its awesome. will never go back, I never heard of a +1 forward though.. are ou sure its possible?
  12. I just got my cylinders back form Passion, got the 12 port stroker done in the dune style. I should have it all back together this weekend. I will let you know how I like it.
  13. for your P brake, go get yourself a 20$ clutch lever and take that piece of shit lever off and for te cable i think you need a closed circuit for it to run so cut it af far as possible and conect te 2 wires together
  14. I would get the porting first, stock suspension is fine for regular trail riding and pits, specialy if you dont jump. and a nice dune port will work awesome with your t-5 I got porting way before suspension and i dont regret it one bit
  15. got any pics of it?
  16. I was thinking the same thing about the lockup weight, plus you'll never groove the damn thing. I'l try emailing them tonight if they can give me a weight figure for them... we'll see what kind of service they give..
  17. It is a billet basket indeed but unlike all of the others it is made out of a billet of stainless steel instead of a billet of aluminum. Billet is not a material but the machinable piece that the material come in bulk in the factory. My question is why is this the only one I've seen that is made off stainless? Weight would be the only downfall I could think off. Would the heavier stainless makes that much off a differerence VS the lighter aluminum?
  18. I'm still shopping around for a clutch basket, I was looking at M&M atv website and there is a stainless basket in there. looks like its got to be the cats ass! but at the same time if it was that great somebody else would offer it as well. looking for other's oppinion on this. http://www.mmatvonline.com/product_info.php?products_id=222
  19. here you go dude, this guy will help you  http://www.bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=87409
  20. yeah that is a good point, I'll give you a call soon about one off those I'll need a pancake bearing as well
  21. I'm looking into getting a barnett Billet clutch basket, they are a little pricey but i like the replaceable stainless steel insert they come with. I was wondering if they come with new cushions as mine are shot. and if anybody use one on here. are they worth the money?
  22. I first tought this was a neat idea until I saw the price they are asking for it... damn its more expensive than a fully assembled & polished one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/YAMAHA-BANS...sspagenameZWD1V
  23. I bought the same bushings, ran them all year. no problem at all. they go right in without a press or hamering an they stretch a bit over the sleeve so they are nice and tight but not stiff. I'd keep them they work good
  24. looks like a real nice head, I like the reinforcements idea! what price they go for? you have custom domes for 4 mils and stuff?
  25. thanks for the spindles dude, transaction went real smooth!
