  1. My stock boots were wrecked and i got a good deal the boss intake, I couldn't tell you if there is any gain because i added them at the same time I added 20cc domes, ported jugs, and the airbox. As far as the post below about CFM, I have also heard many bad things but i got a swinger and airbox from them with no problems, maybe i just have good luck?
  2. Im running fmf fattys. why? I love my CFM box, but I did have to modify it a bit to fit with my boss intake, just a heads up.
  3. I run a cfm airbox with Unis and i love it. I went with the uni filter because it can get pretty dusty where i ride and they seem be be better at keeping it out. But i also hit lots of puddle and stream crossings and i have had no trouble. Plus it looks a hell of alot better than stock.
  4. How much are you guys taking off, I can get stuff done for free at the local machine shop, But they know nothing about banshees, so their not sure how much to take off. I have a spare flywheel that i would like to get done, So does anyone have any measurements or anything like that I can give to them?
  5. I went through the same thing when i bought my boss intake, I bought one of the aluminum airboxs like posted above and then had to cut like 2 inches off of it before it fit. I like the setup but it was kind of a pain to get it all to fit. I ride trails with lots of mud and watercrossings too and I take my time when it gets deep and have never had a problem with water getting in. I couldn't find a way to modify my stocker to fit and still needed an air box so this was the best solution i could come up with, looks a hell of alot better too.
  6. I seen this in dirtwheels and got a good laugh. www.airturbo01.com What do you guys think
  7. Yah the first thing i would do is get those serial numbers checked, for 200$ it probaly is stolen
  8. Mine would grab sometimes too when you put it in gear with the clutch pulled it jumps forward and dies. I had to file down the grooves and readjust the clutch and it worked great after that.
  9. How do you guys connect the new wires to the coil? Do the old ones just pull out and push in the new ones, or do you have to splice them? I didn't think you could change the wires on a stock coil.
  10. Yah Im going to check compression before i do anything, but even if i can get away with pump gas, I still have 5 gallons of C12 that I can burn, So will it hurt to run straight C12 or should I mix it 50/50?
  11. Well I recently changed to 20cc domes and Im going home this weekend to try it out. I'm expecting around 160psi, my Squish is .050 and I'm pretty much at sea level . I have talked to a few people with similar setups and some run race gas an some don't. So I picked up some C12 just incase. My question is can I mix it 50/50 with 91pump or do I run it straight? I'm sure someone here can point me in the right direction. Thanks
  12. This might be a stupid question, but I'll ask it anyways. I recently bumped up my compression and Im going to be running VP C12, Do I have to rejet ?
  13. Ok sorry i guess i worded that wrong. I wanted to know what i should be looking for when i measure it. I know how to do it, just looking to for a number to compare to when i do meausre it. I have a few different size base gaskets cause I want to make sure its all good. So 0.035'' - 0.045'' is what i should be looking for, correct?
  14. What should my squish be set at with 65mm wisecos and 20cc domes? Thanks
  15. On my old cylinders i had 6 helicoils for the studs and never had a problem, but i agree that if you don't know how to do it right then take it to some one that does.
