  1. is the steering stem interchangeable from banshee to warrior? looked up the P/N's and they are the same besides the first 3 digits being 3GG for the shee and 3GD for the warrior... what is the difference if there is any?
  2. go 9" rim with 20" tire, leave the 18-8 for the little bikes.
  3. We've done this many times with my buddy's. and it depends on the bike... The Honda would loose oil but the Suzuki kept it, I'm not sure about the YFZ but i think the crankcase breather tube goes into the airbox and its where oil comes from. One solution could be to xtend the tube and re-route it so it goes to an higher point on the bike. here's our redneck setup
  4. how much do they retail for and how is the clutch pull with them?
  5. I can confirm you that wicked dont offer warranty on anything but manufacturing. I bent an upper arm and it will cost me 75$ to get a new one :ermm: they really are nice arms but now I wish I would've bought something with a warranty.
  6. +1 on Passion stroker, my 12 port will run right with or in front of 450 dirtbikes on any surface. and power wheelies in 6th all day long. Good work Jim
  7. Passion 12port stroker, 21cc domes sea level@ 165psi +8 timing. strait 100LL avgas.
  8. I've seen all kinds of way's over the years. heat cycles seems to be the most common way, start it up, let it idle until nice and warm. stall it let it cool, repeat 3 times. great time to sinc carbs and dial in your idle and such. once that's done ride the shit outta IT!
  9. you got to watch when using 10w30 most of them have Energy conserving additives which will burn up your clutch in a hurry. 10w40 is less likely to have that stuff. I use 10w40 4 stroke motorcycle oil. made for wet clutch applications
  10. There is this guy that makes them billets cases, I never heard of them before but i found them by looking for a chromoly steering stem online. We emailed back and forth and the owner, Tim, seems allright. He told me he can make my stem wathever length and wall thickness I want, and the price is right. I dont know if anybody ever dealt with them but I willing to give it a try. I'll report back whenever I get it. http://www.geisickperformance.com/crank_cases.htm
  11. I'm going to replace my rings soon and I just want to make sure 795 series uses the same rings as regular wiseco's
  12. and billet lights  it looks good but I would remove the yellow flames on the tank cover.
  13. they are cheng shing 826 rears, they retail for about 80$ each here they are in parts unlimited; http://atv.parts-unlimited.com/23/69/6440664
  14. I do Ice racing every weekend in the winter and I can tell you the only way to go if your serious about it is to get real ice screws and tires. I run 480 screw in each rear tires and about 250 in front. screws placement and alignement is key to good traction. this is the hot ticket, right from the king of ice racing website; you can see them as well in my sig. www.mf44.ca
  15. happenned to me once too, it ended up being my clutch hub and pressure plate that where worn out. As it wears, the clutch assy get thinner and thinner. the bearing assy on the cascade adjuster is a lot thicker than the shoulder on the stock adjuster and it interfere between the pressure plate and the hub which keeps the clutch from closing all the way. pressure plates are cheap. replace it.
  16. I bought a set of oem replacement steel rims from itp. there a dime a dozen and really tough little heavier but for a set of trail tires on a trail bike you wont notice any difference.
  17. sound's like custom's the way to go! nice aluminum tank would be sharp.
  18. Quad magazine is the only atv mag worth buying imo. especialy because of the pin ups on quad posters for my garage every month  here's this month's fine piece of gear http://quad.transworld.net/2008/07/09/euro...special-brooke/
  19. try www.photobucket.com works great
  20. I'm no diesel mechanic but what ignition timing you think you will advance on a sparkless diesel engine?
  21. here's a nice setup guide from lone star http://www.lsracing.com/img/Guide_21.pdf
  22. I run it in mine as well, 170 psi +8 timing 4 mil stroker. runs just like it should burns real clean too. I got a good deal on a jug of 110 race fuel last year, ran that 60/40 with premium pump gas. no difference from the avgas. and for the price cant beat it!
  23. Here's one http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Bans...tZ1218765388835 pretty lucky to find somebody selling just the right one if you ask me! normaly poeple would sell both for double that price.
