  1. AH DUDE, broken tailbone! there are few things in the world that suck more! Been there done that, 12 years later and it still gets stiff if I'm sitting on the floor for more than a few minutes...gee I can't wait until I'm 50
  2. Looks the same only yellow Only time will tell? I'll stick with my shee no matter what!
  3. If it wasn't for the HQ I don't know where my project would be, the info contained in here is amazing! ....good time to say Thanx to EVERYONE
  4. Damn...thats a nice lookin shee, to bad some retard ownes it now!
  5. If you put it in your tank will it make bubbles like my sons bubble mower? I've run Gear Saver in my bike as well as 3 other shee riders I ride with for the last 3 years and no trouble for any of us??...weird?
  6. Neither for me, only the erbal green tabacco
  7. LOL..."the short bus"
  8. Wha??? U get no help from me if your gonna be a tool!
  9. that's it exactly!...same goes for that 700 v force. Buyers should get the extra seat for DS so they have a second person to help turn the fukin thing over
  10. It's a used Banshee, if your unsure...don't buy it!!!, if you looked it over and agreed then it's yours! I don't see how it would need a stator if the bike ran?, I think you should look for someone else to do your repairs, there is no simpler wiring harness on the planet, these parts are not expensive and I think your making a mountain out of a mole hill! Fact.- you drove there, you lokked it over, YOU AGREED TO THE TRADE!!!!! CJ3, you should have kept the banshee...wait until you have to do some real repairs to that DS, then you'll be dishin out the cash
  11. 32:1 for life! I've used Motul and Bellray H1R & SI7, same results but I find the SI7 burns cleaner.
  12. My sudgestion would be to go sit on one, then you'll see how huge they are . I for one woldn't want that tank rollin over me in a mishap!, it is so heavy it's dangerous, not to mention fugly
  13. Good artical!! Of course the are refering to 4 stroke engines and in the end they state "To sum up, the cast piston is light and very demesionally stable. It is found in high-rpm mass-produced that are not subject to modification or proned to detination" If your banshee remains stock then a cast piston will do fine, if your going to advance the timing or up compression that makes it prone to detination! From an engine builder standpoint there would be no other choice then a forged piston for high performane 2 stroke. I personally run Keith Black cast pistons in my street car ...but thats a differant story
  14. There is nothing but air space in there, thats where the oil pump sits in the RZ's which was removed when adopted by the banshee. Here's a pic of a clutch cover with all that stuff removed.
  15. Boy...I'm glad I live in Canada
  16. He's what we call "perma-stoned", there is no coming back.
  17. I think the c series come powdercoated, and that shit is tough, I wouldn't worry about chips.
  18. I don't know about that, I know if it isn't just right or the way I wanted it I can bearly sleep, especially with my mind racing with ideas. Go with your gut! I will share with you one thing I've learned....the 3 color rule, , black is usually nutral (hoses, clips etc.) and aluminum, silver, chrome, billet, etc count as the same. I find if you exceed 3 colors the bike starts to look to busy. From the looks of things your on the right track anyways. my .02
  19. streched worn out chains, loose carrier, bad link, anything can happen. This happens to all atv's, not just banshees and yes it get bunched up by the drive sproket, thats why they make case savers, and they make them for all the high performance quads.
  20. Forged pistons are a better piston period, if you had "cold seizing" spots on them that probably because the cylinders were not sized properly, forged pistons require more clearance than cast, and all pistons are not exactly the same size, before the jugs can be honed to there finished size the pistons have to be checked with a micrometer then add the clearence. Engines with certin upgrades will require more clearance. .003-.004 clearence is where you want to be. Cast pistons can break apart or shatter, forged won't. Wiseco has also been around a very long time and used in countless applications, they have done their reserch, and I rest easy knowing I got wiseco's in my shee!
  21. Damn dude, take care of yourself. My buddy always says " bad roads bring good people", meaning all the fellow riders on the trails and parks!
  22. Best bet is to go to the manufacturers web site and read up on the shocks offered LOTS of info to help you make a choice
  23. What do you call a hooker with a runny nose? -Full.
  24. Seriously though, I ground mine, and 2 of my buddy's on a bench grinder and they work flawless.
