  1. there should also be a sticker on the frame tube that the front left engine mount bolts to, it should state the year of production.
  2. If it is a chassie dyno you can get different readings buy just sitting on it diffrentley, but it sets a great baseline for tuning.
  3. The parking brake was useless 3 weeks after I got my shee brand new and it was less hassel to remove it then to adjust it. useless junk that they shouldn't make you pay for!
  4. Ya I'm not sure I want some guy crawlin all over me, all I'd hear are banjo's
  5. Agreed, cause you know if they made a new banshee they would make it all swoopy and ginsu lookin for all the Honda guys
  6. There are gains in a simple clean up port , like removing flashing, smoothing and polishing exhaust ports, and matching the case to transfers. Without modifing the acctual port size you can stay out of trouble. I've ported hundreds of automotive heads, but I wouldn't dare alter the ports on the shee.....2 stroke waaaay diffarent.
  7. Have only had experiance with the hi-revs and I found them to roll on very smooth and have excellent power delivery!
  8. I have a set of +2 tie rods, looks like they have been painted a couple of times but otherwise in good shape and there arn't any joints with them. 25.00 shipped. PM me if interested.

  13. I think shipping would be more than a new one, check your local bike/atv shops, I'm sure its the same one used on many quads, someone will have one laying around
  14. Thats too funny, not oncein my life have i seen someone weld a piston.
  15. 24:1 is more lean then 32:1 ( more oil less feul) I run 32:1 since I do alot of full throttle riding on the open trails.
  16. Remove the carbs and clean them, do the same with the air box and filter, you can disconect the tors (little box above the left cyl) and replace the cable. Sticky throttle is nothing to play around with, you can get seriously hurt if it sticks open! Don't ride it until you get it free'd up.
  17. make sure you don't have the slides in backwards, happened to me.
  18. Silverado's for life! Cheap to repair and tough tough, with power to spare. Deisels may last forever but all the little parts cost a fortune!
  19. muriatic acid & water
  20. Epoxy is the way to go, see if you can find some from an industrial wholesaler. There is also a product that is 3 step with a base coat, then you add this kinda sparkaly flek stuff or you can lay down vynil stickers, and then a clear top coat. Can't remember the brand name, I've seen it on horsepower TV and it looked way cool when it was done. Google it and you will find.
