check ebay, I have some good lowers, but the uppers are toast. You could weld in threaded tube to the stock a arms and buy balljoints, thats the only way to replace them. There are lots of manufactuers that make stock length aftermarket arms as well as +1 frwd, +1 +1, etc.

My melon would be mush if I didn't wear my helmet, but the real point of the story is don't doubble, thats why Yamaha put all those large stupid plaques and stickers with rivets in 2 languages all over the bike "NO PASSENGERS"

you know just to get it out of your system lol I find the cops around here are always on a power trip, I think a few of them need a good tazerin!, it would be a good vacation spot for you faster, and then you could flee back to the states

Definatley pipes, anything is better than stock, check HQ for sale forums, local papers, classifides and ebay. You can mix it at something other than 24:1 if you running stock ratio, like 32 or 40:1, and of course rejet. You can also elongate the holes in the stator plate to advance your timing.

I raced a 450 with the same mods, and mine was piped light flywheel and 4 deg advance, and he had me until top of third then it was all over for him. I've ridden the Honda 450r and they are alot of fun and very torquey!, but I love the feel of my shee waaaayyyyy more! Not to mention the cost of rebuilding those 450's is outragious!!!!!!

your in the same boat with chrome, and the grease will contaminate the dipping tanks!

You answered your own question. The heat will melt out all the grease! Aftermarket a arms are pretty reasonable now days, get a set that way you won't have crappy factory arms on a potentually tight lookin PC frame!

You can buy silver header paint and clear header paint for a real glossy finish, and it won't have the cheesey chrome paint look

If you have access to a bandsaw and a tig welder you can make your own for about 20$...I did, have a template to. We need to get a do it yourself section on this site!

I've done them for myself and my buddy and I sent a set to BenBB for his RZ conversion, and they all work awsome. I have pics of the procedure if someone can post them for me. PM me and I will email them.
