  1. Not to be mean or anything cause that bike looks really sharp but here in missouri I doubt you are going to get 6 for it. Just a little help. It shouldn't go for much less than brand new though its really clean!
  2. mine is just a 400 and i dont run a cross over tube and i am sure their are plenty other people who don't as well and have smaller engines then me.for example a drag ported 350.
  3. yeh that and the fact when Andy had my carbs converting them a while back they took longer than expected which was really no big deal but when i got the package he had put a base gasket in there free of charge! thanks Andy
  4. what kind of shape is the clutch basket in? Does it have any grooves in it from wear?
  5. first thing check your pilots and clean the carbs and if it still boggs you might have a small water leak. If it burns just a little water it will bogg off the line but eventually pull out of it, but this would have to be a small leak.
  6. what brand of pistons are they?
  7. well then just put an end to your worries and just buy it. Like i said before by no means is it going to hurt you and if you have the money what is holding you back. THen if by any chance you decide to go to alky you already got the pingel vavle.
  8. yeh i know what you are talking about you need to take one of the rubber gromets on one side of the silencer then put the spacer in the middle of the rubber gromet then put the other rubber gromet on the other side of the silencer, this one holds it all together then put the bolt through and tighten it up.
  9. what kind of fuel are you running? If you are running alky you need another tank of race fuel to feed the nitrous and also a fuel pump. I am sure there is more someone else will chime in to fill ya in.
  10. well by no means is it going to hurt your motor but it is just the fact if you want to spend the money or not.
  11. all you have to do is pull your side case off and use a flatbladed scredriver to pop the e-clip off the water pump shaft then pull the washer off and then you need to take the water pump cover off(the plastic one), then take the other cover off(the metal one) then you can just pull your plastic impeller out. and welcome to the HQ!
  12. i was told to go to one when i switched to alky and it made quite a bit of difference before i could tell it was running out of fuel, you also need to take the three screws out and the plastic piece and ball out of the gas cap and drill the hole as big as it will go to help the fuel flow its like pouring gas out of a gas can without a vent hole.
  13. damn .118 thats pretty big i also have power jets on my carbs. and 9.5 timing that is quite a bit too, how big is your engine?what is it? andy at GRR did my carbs and my first mains were .098 and i thought is was lean so i drilled some more.it always ran good on top until at the dunes when my left carb got plugged or something cause the hole in the piston thing you were talking about??? yeh look at my avatar. but the right side looked really good.
  14. well its good to hear you got it off. when you put it back on torque it to specs so it will be easier next time i believe it is like 60ftlbs someone correct me if i am wrong.
  15. the gear that runs the water pump probably broke(i have seen it alot)which will cause it to get hot and it goes downhill from there.like gimmeabeer said shit just breaks!
  16. with your pipes i would leave the pilot at 25 but definitly put a bigger main in it maybe try a 300. depends on where you live?
  17. no offense to the places listed but to me alba and trinity are just too expensive they think their stuff is made of gold or something, i like cascade they sell really good products. another place you could order from is jeff at FAST racing he doesn't have a site yet but shoot him a pm his screename is fastoys. he can get you anything you can dream of pretty much.
  18. also make sure that your carbs are all the way on i have seen a few where they think the carb is slid all the way on but the rubber boot kinda folded under and it made it lean out and rev up, but checking your carbs would be first.
  19. yeh that would be a good start but if you do have spark then make sure it is getting fuel. make sure air filter isn't completely clogged either. try these few things and let us know how it went!
  20. if i were you i would go with either cpi's or shearer's like bkabina said they will work really nice for your dunes and flattracking and not give up too much low for the trails.
  21. I got it from cascade innovations. actually from Jeff at FAST but cascade made it!
  22. well i am going to get it all powdercoated the new chrome color which looks pretty good and cheaper than actual chrome. There is a place right next to me in Blue Springs, Missouri. Oh you probably got them off of the "Lets see your banshee" topic. post some pics of your shee up i enjoy looking at all them.
  23. oh i do have fun just wish i could get it done. i didn't repaint the frame all i am really doing is getting white rear fenders, getting my swingarm,a-arms,spindles,axle carrier, pegs, and some motor mouts powdercoated chrome. and i am doing some mods to the engine!!which is always a plus. Which picture did you have as you background like the one in my sig??
  24. damn that really makes a person feel good about their bike. here i got some updated pics, but she isn't complete yet. i hope you like the updates.
  25. well actually if ya think about it there shouldn't be any way it should even start with 75 lbs. yeh i would check your compression checker, or get another to compare the results to.
