  1. the second atv off road fury has a banshee and its a Trinity banshee with what it looks to be rocket pipes (kinda). It is the best one of the three in my opinion
  2. Ok i got ya now, I am in the middle of completing a deal on a lower end right now and once i get it and find out what all i need i may get back with on one of the sets if they are still around. Thanks again for clearing the confusion. :biggrin:

  4. I have had mine for a while now and no leaks and it points towards the carbs. And I run 5/16 fuel line.

  9. ok you might be right but that is why i wanted to know is compression. But yeh last year I was at 210 with alky and i had mine gapped at 18 thousandths, but like you said if he is under that there is no reason to have them that tight.
  10. sounds to me like it is loading up cause mine will do the same thing if i don't ride it a little before i run it. I can be at about the 100 ft mark and it will spit and sputter and run like dog piss then go race again and it will run perfect. But i am on alky and i believe i am waaaay too rich. By the way what is your compression at? you might even need to tighten your gap up, if it is really high it could be blowing out the spark when you get it wound up. also do you have your powervalves blocked off, if not take them apart and inspect them they can cause some problems for ya if something aint right.
  11. ok i am a little confused are you selling two sets of cylinders, one at 64 and one at 65.5, and two sets of pistons for them. Or are you selling one set of cylinders at 65.5 and two sets of pistons.

  15. ah shit i have lost track but i am pretty sure it is under 3300. see when i bought the bike it had the trex cylinders on it and sst pipes thats it. everything else i have bought. here is what it looked like a few months after i bought it, i had already painted the frame and a-arms and bought the grill and headlight covers. anyways i paid 4200 for it without that little stuff and i have probably close to 3000, maybe. not 100% sure. here are some pictures of it from just last week.
  16. well the only thing i would be worried about is your crank and the clutch. You should split the cases and get the crank welded, and while you got it apart you should call Jeff at FAST racing and order is clutch kit your stock one won't hold up long. Um you ought to mod your shift star for ease of shifting and another thing you will need is a longer swingarm for sure, unless you reallllly like riding wheelies. My bike's lower end isn't nothing much over stock either, Its got a 4mill stoker crank trued and welded, EBC kevlar clutch(I bought it before I knew about Jeff), modded shift star. timing advanced 7 degrees. then up top its just 68.5mm bore with 58mm stroke to make it a 427cc. with the ports just matched to the stroke not really drag ported. its got 12cc domes with a squish clearance of 40 thousands and it's on alcohol. and i run rocket pipes with a +6 swingarm and 35mm airstrikers. I think thats pretty much it.

  18. Damn never had that happen before! Thats crazy sounds to me somethin was wrong to begin with. What all was done to the engine that the clutch blew up on??
  19. where are you talking about? Where i race it doesn't matter what you have as long as you have all of the safety stuff, but it is just for fun no points or winnings or anything.
  20. well as long as you are happy with what ya got. But post some pics of your bike when its done and let us know how it runs. What is all going to be done to it again? Stock stroke 72mm bore with drag porting?????? what tranny are ya goin to run? clutch? you gonna run a lock out? I am curious......let me know.
  21. Hey thanks mcf for the reply but that engine is in a little too good of shape for me, not really wanting to spend that much, i am just looking for something i can ride around on for a week at the dunes. But thanks again.
  22. Ok you got me their they actually do mix very well, I could tell a big difference when i went to alky. But I guess I should have said Drinking alcohol and banshees do not mix.
  23. well sounds like you had fun. And don't take me wrong I like drinking and having fun, I mean I am a college student! but banshees and alcohol usually doesn't mix. :baseball_bat: But hey before you order that clutch from rockymountain call Jeff at FAST racing and order his clutch kit it is much better.   24. It may be able to be cheaply modded to beat the banshee ifffff they put a banshee engine in it!
  25. haha i hear ya their, i guess i should have said just a decent run, didn't mean to sound like a hardass or something. But i am definitly going back either this wednesday or friday, i think i am getting hooked on this pavement stuff. :beer:
