  5. how much you want for both skid plates, and the stock carbs?? Does all all the mounting hardware come with the skid plates???
  6. you selling your 33's? Would they take the OEM slides? That is if you're selling them?
  7. I could be off on my guess but I would try doing a cold and warm compression check on it. Sounds like you are losing compression and the bike is dying. I don't think there is anything electrical that would make it stop running due to temperature. I may be wrong and i am sure you will get some good info on what it could be. Between everyone here on the site there is no problem we can't fix...someone will know what to do.....Welcome to the HQ

  9. Damn I didn't think I would see this thread again...But yeah my banshee has red plastics on it already and people I work with think I planned the whole color matching thing...didn't even think about it until I got the banshee in the truck 3 weeks later.
  10. After you mentioned the ssbc website i went and looked at what they had...I'll be getting the kit from them....all 4 rotors and all pads for $325. Still haven't made a decision on the suspension though..... Still looking into that... Thankd for all your help.... I will be sure to ask for more info later on from you.
  11. I was looking at the powerslots and a couple others as far as rotors. I am on a bit of a budget but depending on the price and brand, etc., the budget may change but not too drastically. I don't want to get the very top of the line because the car will be sold within a year or two for a better, newer mustang(roush stage 3, cobra, saleen.) I don't really want to change out the calipers, I was trying to avoid that. Now if i was to keep the car I would change them out. The car is a daily driver for my wife so there is no racing(from her anyways) and there is no heavy braking being done. All four rotors will be changed out over a period of a couple pay checks. Suspension.....All I was really looking for is to possible drop it a little to lower the center of gravity but mainly to improve overall handling. You have any idea where I can get a brake control module with the ABS and traction control options?? That took a crap on us too.
  12. I know it's not a banshee but maybe you can help like you have in the past. I have a '01 GT and the brake rotors need to be resurfaced after 75k miles. I decided to get new rotors and now I don't know which brand/type to get. Iknow when I had my '01 eclipse the drilled and slotted were the way to go and I am wondering if that is still the way to go. My question to you is this. 1. What are some good rotors to go with? 2. Drilled and slotted or just slotted or does it really make a difference? 3. Where can I buy rotors besides summit racing and stylinconcepts? 4. where can I buy a brake control module with pump with ABS and traction control? I will be using the stock calipers. I also need new suspension as well. any help here is greatly appreciated and thanks in advance I posted these questions on a mustang website few days ago and no one has given me any help so I thought maybe everyone/anyone here can help me out.
  13. Before I did the top end on mine the compression when cold was at 85 and would drop down to below 70 when warm. The bike would start 2nd kick and ran while idling...wouldn't run when you tried to move it, it would just die.
  14. Ok so I need a new clutch for my 98CR250. It finally gave out while at Sand Mt. Nevada. I called the shop to see how much one would cost and they said I was looking close to $300 for new friction plates, steel plates and springs(6). The friction plates are factory honda from what the guy said. he said the aftermarket stuff isn't as reliable as the factory friction plates. i want to know if this has any truth to it and if not what brand is a good brand. The main type of riding I do is motocross with a few trips to the sand. Thanks in advance for any help.
  15. Damn talk about a kick in the nuts. I don't know what to tell you Kai. I've never been in a siutuation like this you are in. I agree with you 5 days is is not nrearly enough to show true feeling s for her son. that is something that takes time. Sure you can take him out and do things with him etc but feelings that come from the heart can't be shown in 5 days. In 5 days the true feelings that you have can be shown but only scratch the surface of what you really feel. I'm sorry if it doesn't work out between the 2 of you, I hope it does. If it doesn't cwork out and she gives you the shee to sell, if you go that route, give me a holler and I'll see what I can do as far as getting the money to buy it from you. I hope everything works out.
  16. YOu would be correct about the jetting but he has NO lid and His bore is .20 over from stock. When I had filter pods and PC exhaust on a stock motor my main jetting was a 280. Now that he's bored .20 he should go bigger on his jetting. I had to for a 2nd over size bore on my main and pilot.
  17. What side is not firing??? Try swapping the pilots and main. I would suggest a 310 or 340 main and a 27.5 pilot.
  18. When I first bought my banshee it had the PC pipes with the 304 factory sound silencers., K&N filter pods and a 280 main, otherwise the bike was entirely stock as far as the motor goes. I had the OEM tires on it and I raced my roomate on his 660 on pavement. His mod was a K&N air filter with the lid removed and he had Razr 2 tires. We are at 400ft elevation and I smoked his ass. I had never raced before and I was screwed the launch but I was able to pass him up and win by a good margin. Try moving your clip to the 4th position and dropping a 280 main and see what happens(if your motor is stock that is. I know for a fact that something is wrong wioth your bike if you noticed no difference. If you are that disappointed with your pipes sell them to me and I'll use them

  20. Boy oh boy. mine did this not too long ago, same side too. Pull your slide and needle and inspect everything really well. i was told that the needle immulsion tube in the slide was to blame. A new needle was installed and it ran fine. Try swapping your slides and needles to see if that affects anything. I had to redo my top end due to loss of compression when warm and the damnt hing started to act up. Almost a year later I gave up and took it to the stealership and they fixed what ever it was. I sayt his because I don't think they knew what they did to fix it.

  23. Ok people I am in the hunt for a 99 or newer banshee. I WILL have $3500 in hand. I have to sell my 98 Cr250 before I buy another banshee so any takers on the CR250 let me know. If you have a shee for sell and are not within driving distance and would have to ship let me know. I would like to pay $3500 shipped. If you are local, even better for the both of us. I would like something that is at least jetted and piped. I will consider all modded/non modded bikes but modded will get looked at more seriously.
