So say I run 20cc domes/8 degrees at sea level and 17ccdomes/8 degrees at 4500ft.......would that an ideal set up??
-
As you can see there are some things about the banshee that are still new to me. dajogejr I may be PM'ing you to ask afew more questions if I don't understand something... Would advancing the timing hurt performance at sea level or hurt it at +6-9 degrees?? I will also be riding at sea level...
-
The timign is already set at +4...Bansheeseat$$ had it already set up... SO if I advance it some more are there any way of knowing what it's set at? I haven't opened the side cover to lookat the timing plate...Sounds like more work than I originally thought...
-
I'm runnig VP 110 octane..Will that be enough?...Do I need to bump my timing up?? Never thought about doing that....and how the hell do i do it...never had to mess with that
-
Yeah Bansheeseat$$ gave me a new set and said that anytime i do a swap to swap out the o-rings. I was going to do a heat cycle just to make sure of no leaks. So more torque is all I'm looking at and the HP should be the about the same?
-
OK so before Ihead up to Sand mountain, Nv. again i was thinking of swapping my domes out to the 17cc domes. I know at my elevation to expect 200+psi but what should I expect... 1. at the 4500 ft elevation psi wise?? 2 HP differences? 3. jetting requirements? 4 and the dumbest of all questions just to cover all my worries........will I have to do a break in process again......I don't think I do since It's only the head I'm taking off Oh and the head is specific to the cheeath powervalve..not a cool, Noss head. Thanks

Heel Guards. Where are they ? RaceReady11

I think the HQ has tried to help RACE in this situation he has put himself in and he has basially told everyone here to go fuck themselves. He has called people on here about every derogatory name in the book.....so I think someone should get ahold of Lee and let him know what going on....It's clear that RACE is not going to right the situation since he's already stated that he's spent the money and more than likely on his extremely nice shee. -

AMEN...i tried to help him out by giving him ideas to prove his innocence but he told me to go fuck myself and mind my own business. I hope this isn't what he does when he is offered help in person...and yes what he said to NYUK was very uncalled for. -
EG K is the the size....the needles aren't gas/alky specific....just have to find the correct jetting.
-
You have to disconnect the slide from the throttle cable once that's done you have to unscrew the needle holder from the top part of the slide once that's out you should be able to see the needle. Pull it out and see what position your needle clip is in.

Race...dude what's your problem????? I'm pretty sure that if these people got the parts that these threads wouldn't be posted. When you start calling people names and pissing them off doesn't help much, for example calling NYUK a bastard...Not a good thing to do. He is one of many of the most respected people on this site and he stands behind his word. Do you have any kind of proof that you shipped the items....try to show everyone here that you aren't a scamming piece of shit...like you claim you aren't. That would go a long way with alot of these people that you are a decent person and that you are telling some truth about the USPS losing ALL 5 packages at once. You can start cussing and swearing all you want but I have not said anything bad about you,,,in fact I'm trying to help you in you situation. How would you feel if you say.... blew your motor up and needed a new one, bought it off someone on this site and you never recieved it and the seller kept saying he sent it but yet never returns your PM, emails, phone calls...You;d be out a lot of money and I bet you;d be pissed and want to rip his fucking head off. What I'm saying is show some proof that the items have been sent and when replying to posts, emails, PM's....be professional about it and not get all defensive and stop calling people derogatory names....it doesn't help the situation at all. -
Too bad you aren't closer I have a 98 CR250 that has a worked motor. That I'd be serious about trading for your shee
-
The only thing he has going for him is that it has a powervavle motor and drag pipes...I don't see anything special about it

can you list your mods for us?? The mods may be similar but the smallest thing can make noticable changes.

Where to Buy the fullbore fiber glass fronts
Handyman replied to RaceReady11's topic in For Sale - Parts & Accessories
Like I said before....If you were ANY KIND OF MAN WHO STANDS BEHIND HIS WORD you'd make the situation right by either a full refund or the parts promised. If you read my last post I never attacked you or said anyhting negative about you. -

It sounds kinda shady when 2 people on here are wating for parts they paid for and you say USPS has them...I've used USPS to ship internationally and have never had a problem with them losing anything. Technically you are still responsible for either refunding the money or getting the parts bought from you to the buyers. If you had any morales and was any kind of man who honored his word and had any kind of honor you would make the situation right by either a refund or the part bought from you. You can come up with all the unacceptable excuses in the world but the fact of the matter is is that you owe a couple people either the item they bought or a full refund. If yo did in fact ship the ites how about you post a pic of the shipping reciept so we all know that you did ship the items. USPS does give reciepts...and I always keep mine until the buyer recieves the item to cover my ass. If the buyeras really wanted to they could put a lien on you and when you applied for a loan of any kind that would show up on you r credit scire and you'd be fucked until that lein was paid for or taken care of...You have a choice to make and I hope you make the situation right. -

at 200ft above sea level on my powervalve I run a 142 main 45 pilot clip in 3rd position and 1.5 turns out on my air screw. My CPI's didn't turn colors on me..

If the pistons won't fit in the cylinders then you have a very tight 64mm bore, which is good. I would figure out why the pistons won't fit, You sure the pistons are the correct size?? I would call rmatv and see if you can't just exchange the 64mm for a set of 65mm pistons....might do it for the price of shipping

I have the FOX Forma pro's. I bought them when I had my CR250 and before I had my shee's and I love them. They fit me foot snuggly, which I like. They saved my ankles a few times.

Where should i be with my jetting...?
Handyman replied to FOXBANSHEE30's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
if it's fouling while you're riding then yes you are correct...it's rich... I don't have a 2-1 set up liike you but in my 35's I have a 142 main and a 45 pilot, clip in 3rd position and air screws out 1.5 turns out... try something close to that and see what happens. Oh and that's set up for 4500ft elevation and it was a bit on the lean side but not too bad. -
I may be tight for money but I think I can swing $5...Wife and I are talking about leaving friday early morning or about noon...You guys have an idea where on the beach you'll be camping at?? and what do I look for?? Still not sure if i'll be bring the shee's or not I have to take my rear hubs off my cheetah....I came home from Sand Mountain, Nv and found the rear hubs were loose.. I haven't had a chance to take them off and look at the splines on the hubs or the axle.
