You should have gone with the K&N filter pods...would wake your shee up unless you ride a lot in water... Anyways....before you buy the jet kit see where your jetting is after you install the new filter. More than likely you'll have to rejet to a bigger main jet since you'll be pulling more air with the K&N filter..More air means more fule needed.

No compression doesn't affect spark. you're going to have compression whether you have spark or no spark. they do not affect each other in any way.

Ok people I have a delema I'm lookng to resolve. Both my shee's won't fit in the back of my truck and I need a utility trailer. I've tried putting on up on end and the other one nosed in and both on end.....well the cheetah doesn't sit well on it's end due to the extended swingarm so that's out of the question. I'm looking for at least a 12-14 ft flat bed trailer..if you can't put both shee's next to each other, that's why it has to be 12-14ft. I borrowed my buddies 5x10 and I was short by about 2-3 feet to be able to shut the loading ramp and I was unabel to sit them next to each other. I can come up with $500 on the 15th of every month since all my bills go out on the 1st of every month. If I need to come up with a little more I can scrounge but not much more than that. i will drive to pick the trailer up if within a days drive of where I live. Also on ebay ta while back there was a guy selling 10 banshee fender bolts that looked like little spikes. I havent been able to find him and don't remember the store name if anyone remembers the name or points me in the rigth direction i'd greatly appreciate it. thanks in advance

Another thought???? Have you tried to swap the plug boots from plug to the other to see if the problem jumps sides? That is if it sparks on one side only.
-
Is it just one side that sparks every 8 kicks or is it both sides??

How much would it be to powercoat the frame?
Handyman replied to Cykotik's topic in Banshee Appearance
yeah the breakdown part is done yourself... taking the shee apart is fairly easy if you have good idea how to handle tools and stuff and if you have a basic mechanical inclination. I was afraid of taking the shee apart too but after doing some stuff to mine I can build one up from boxes and a frame. The Clymers manual is real handy to have. -

Kaotik1 here on the HQ does PC and I've had a couple things PC'd by him and they are doing pretty good so far and the quality is awesome as hell as him himself is a great guy to deal with. My '99 has PC'd frame, swingarm and a-arms and are standing up pretty damn good. No chipped as of yet. BigRed was right as far as the carb cleaner etc...I was cleaning my carbs and a dripped a little on the swingarm and it cam right off....other than that the PC is standing up to my abuse. -
yeah the place sits right next to the Naval base. The other closest dealers are about an hour away so they can raise the prices a bit.....the prices for parts and accesories aren't bad....I always get a 15-20% discount on the little shit like lubricants, little knick knacks and such since they know who I am.

In my boredom at work and playing on ebay I came across this 1998 frame with a $700 price tag not to mention the $100 shipping....would you pay $800 for a frame?? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/98-YAMAHA-B...1QQcmdZViewItem

Looking at a new toy hauler
Handyman replied to Screamin_Demon's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Hell I'd live in it.....I'm located 5 hours north of Bansh-eman and BAH for me is $700 and rent is $1200 a month. To Buy a 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a garage and 1300sq. ft is $300,000+ and my mortgage would be like $2700 a month...so yeah buying a house for me is out of the question. -
Valley Cycle and Marine. 559-925-0640 Located in Lemoore, Ca......If you need anything or any help with it let me know...I live about 10 minutes from the shop and know the owner pretty well
-
Went to the shop to get some oil and saw 2 '06 shees sitting there, a blue one and a all black one. They guys were trying to get me to buy one but I had to say no...wife would kill me. The owner of the place said they they came from a shop that couldn't get rid of them, so they did a trade. i guess the dealership that had them said that they had the shees for about a year and even on sale they couldn't sale them. If i had the $6200 they were asking for them I just might buy the black one. Just thought I would share...

RCR called a press conference this morning. There is speculation that Dale already signed the deal with Richard and just stated that he's leaving DEI. If Dale goes to RCR there is talk about him driving the 33 car. Dale also said that he's not planning on driving the 3 car until later in his career. DEI has already started to go down the drain....Teresa is going to bankrupt the company

Yes the reeds for a 98-01 cr250 is what you need. I thinkthey are cheaper on rmatv.com

Don't feel bad about not knowing. Many people have been in your shoes before, me included...everyone has to start somewhere. And never worry about asking a question, that's why we're here...to help ALL banshee owners save money when they can by having the knowledge and help from fellow shee owners. Welcome to the addiction Once you get everything put back together do a compression check. if you have 130-160psi you can can regular 93 octane pump gas, 160-170psi you can either use 50/50 mix of 93oct pump gas and race or striaght pump gas. 170psi is nothing but race gas, preferably 110 octane.
