  1. i have the a arms on, now i just have to wait for my shocks and noss tie rods to show up. i just cut the front mount as close as possible, measured back 9 1/4" (same width as the stock arms) and cut it off. i then deburred the pieces i cut off and added them to the inside of the mount. i thought about welding them, but for now they are just held in place by the bushings. since i only lost a thin saw cut per mount they tightened up fine. i took some pics but it says the file is too big when i try to upload them.
  2. i'm partially done with my install, i had to steal a shock off my brother in laws yfz to mock it up since mine didn't come yet. i see that you have to put the upper a arms on backwards for it to work. looking at the mount locations i wouldn't have guessed it would work. good job mulletman.
  3. i had an intermittent spark problem on mine when the wires to the coil were on, but loose. your coil could be going bad too.
  4. i'm sure he means vent lines
  5. if your radiator level is dropping down you must be too hot. when you replaced the impeller did you make sure everything is in there right? take the impeller cover off and make sure the pin and gear are driving the impeller, not just friction.
  6. i sold him some silencers, he paid right away. good buyer!
  7. i was wondering if the fittings would be the same since a lot of them are made by the same company. they should be long enough since they are for a +2 ex. it's either throw them on the banshee or sell them for a loss on ebay.
  8. thanks, the guy i bought the arms from is shipping me the sleeves, but now i can get started if i get time. how do your noss tie rods work? the 13 3/8" length is good?
  9. i can't remember how much i paid, but i got mine from jeff at fast. they were more expensive than the hardware store but to maintain the right clamping pressure with the stock torque specs the hardware has to stretch the same as stock. i'm sure a lot of people use non stock stuff with success though.
  10. i found a brand new set of streamline brake lines for a +2 400ex that i have left over and was wondering if they'll fit on the banshee. the package isn't opened yet so i don't want to open it unless i know they'll work.
  11. since the graydon intake is longer the airbox won't fit right anyway will it? maybe you could borrow a 400ex airbox and boot to try, they're cheap.
  12. are the steel sleeves inside the bushings the same for the banshee and yfz? i bought some yfz arms but they came without the sleeves.
  13. the payment is clearing paypal, so it's sold. i'll pm you if anything changes
  14. i have a set of fmf power cores that are painted black and not bad shape. $25 shipped
  15. the chain isn't slipping is it?
  16. are you using the stuffers that came with the reeds? i used the cascade open stuffers and they didn't sit flush with the cages. i had to file then hone them flat. the open stuffers won't work with the o rings either because the o ring goes into the intake cutout. i had to use gaskets. before i put in the v force 3's and the pod filter mine ran perfect with a 48 pilot, eek needle in the middle, and 178 main. with v forces and pod filter i had to drop the needle 1 clip. it runs good now but i'm going to try a couple different setting.
  17. dajogejr, you were right the first time. you have to spin the inner lock nut in, then spin the outer nut in so you can see the snap ring, pop the ring off and slide the collar out. the larger lock nut applies pressure outwards on the snap ring like you said. when you spin both nuts inward you will see the snap ring.
  18. good buyer, good communication. bought parts from me. thanks.
  19. there's another guy dealing on it, i'll get back to you if he doesn't take it.
  20. what parts do you still need?
  21. mine wouldn't start this spring until i drained the carb and shook up the gas in the tank. it started and ran then, but i threw the old gas away and mixed up some fresh mix for it.
  22. i just want one for my single carb setup. possibly a regular 35mm pwk but not a pj.
  23. filter is in excellent shape and has a black outerwear too. adapter is the aluminum pro flow. $45 shipped
