  1. they suck. it's darty at speed in the sand and when you turn sharp going slower its hard to straighten back out. i used the rim flip to turn my wide offset rims to stock offset and it's a huge improvement in the sand. it wasnt as noticeable in the dirt.
  2. 178 is what i used
  3. where at in wi? frames or small parts?
  4. i have the wider offset douglas ones and i hated them in the sand. they had bump steer and the wheels would lock if you turned too far. i flipped them to the stock offset and they're way better.
  5. you mean the drive gear attached to the basket? if you have a stock basket and that came off you can throw it all away. can you post pics?
  6. sredish, i got my gorr porting a few months before he stopped taking orders and closed up shop to go to europe. it didnt seem too impressive until i replaced my 33mm single with the 38mm airstryker i have on it now. it gained power everywhere and really came alive. my trinity intake looks just like the one in snopczynski's pics. ive had it off several times and there are no crossover ports in it anywhere, just a plenum that splits into a left and right runner. maybe there was a different version at one time though.
  7. if the gear is on the inside of the clutch housing, not on the center cases that is your water pump gear. otherwise i don't understand what you're asking.
  8. [quote name='letsgetthisdone' DON"T get the 2 into 1 carb for that motor, i've had bad luck with mine in the dunes. and it makes the the left side run a lil leaner then the right. [end quote] i have a trinity single carb on mine and it runs awesome in the dunes along with everywhere else. the single carb does not make one cylinder run leaner.
  9. my magnum basket is grooving after a short time so i don't recommend one.
  10. how much for the sprocket hub?
  11. they're not skat trak but i haven't heard people trash them yet
  12. are they stamped usfs approved? they will have some kind of stamping saying so if they're spark arrested.
  13. if you have an old rubber boot meant for a 33 or 34mm carb it might not work with the 38mm without ripping it.
  14. what jetting do you have now? what porting? do you have a pod on it or an airbox?
  15. banshees make funny noises while idling. tear the topend off and check it out, its easy to do and the gasket kit is only $20. get a clymers manual before you start.
  16. if it isn't ripped or have chunks missing you can reuse it. i've had mine apart a bunch of times.
  17. i like mine.
  18. my crank started separating running a ported 145psi 355 so i would check it often or better yet, weld the crank.
  19. advancing the timing and a single carb will help. a professional porting job (no cleanups) and more compression will help the most.
  20. they probably just mean put the one in that will be towards the center of the engine in first so you can slide the pin in against it and have room to work to put the other one in.
  21. changing the fluid in an automatic transmission does not make them slip and go out, it's not changing the fluid until it's too late and already ruined that makes them go out.
  22. the case split thread is by "bigred350x"
  23. did you call passion racing engines? i like my gorr porting too.
  24. its easier to just look in a clymers than explain, when you have the side cover off and move the shifter you'll see it. you adjust the eccentric stud by loosening a nut and turning the stud.
