the k&n adapter screws right out so you can use the stock keihn jets again. does the ex have mods, box lid or no? go to atvriders.com (formerly exriders) there's about a million different posts on 400ex jetting.
it sounds like you have the stock carbs so take off the seat and turn the dime sized thumb screws to adjust idle speed. you can also adjust idle quality with the idle air screws.
item #4610188501 seller- member897408 has anyone bought one of these? i see he has good feedback but you never know. if you switch over to a round carrier swingarm do you have to use all honda parts or can you use some of the shee parts?
if you like to do a lot of turning while riding you might like the v paddles better, i have the skat trak edges and like them. i also have a set of kenda trakkers if you want a set of cheap paddles.
i have a brand new 100 link x ring gold chain sitting around and i need a new chain for the banshee (104 link) is there anywhere i can buy 4 new links to add to it, or does anyone want to buy it so i can buy the correct length chain. i only took it out to make sure it hadn't started to rust sitting in the box. it still looks factory perfect.
about how much will it cost for porting, new wiseco prolites, and boring for my banshee cylinders. everything looks to be in good shape. the mo better everywhere porting looks good by the description, is that what most people get? almost all the shee's riding is at silver lake dunes but i don't want to lose much low end for trails around here. is cutting down the head for more compression for porting necessary or just recommended. i also thought about advancing the timing 4 degrees too, is there anything wrong with the vito's keys?
i have k&n pro flo w/ no lid, stock carbs, fmf ram valves, stock cylinders, fmf golds, and turbine core 2's. how much power do you usually get by advancing the timing, and are there any other advantages or disadvantages?
ho much power gains can you expect from advancing your timing on a fmf gold piped, jetted stock carbed, no lid k&n pro flow machine with stock cylinders? and are there any drawbacks?
i say prices being equal because i found a prodesign fo about $50. the ricky stator ones are plastic? are the prodesign's better because of this? does it give a considerable power gain on a piped and jetted bike? and how hard is it to pull off everything to install it? i haven't bought a clymers yet.
