  1. It's not needed if there is air flow over the radiator. But it has been done.
  2. I love the chariot brand, but seriously it's not much better then the trinity unit. If you are just wanting a complete kit there are a few guys who will sell it to ya with everything.
  3. My buddy (Domestic Beotch) is ditching one modified for the BOYHESON rad valves. Selling reed cages, intake, and carb with Billit bowl.
  4. Yeah, makes sense now. I like the fact that the piston comes out less on the 573 style to
  5. Interesting..... Maybe take the thing to 66 and nickasil it after porting
  6. Huh, 90hp out of a 2/1? Who would of thought. Guess this guy from cow eater Oklahoma is gonna be getting real busy since he can pull that miracle off
  7. The 2/1 Comes with its own headache. First being once you get one guys will tell you to not bother with it rather then helping you jet it. Second. Not as many knowledgable folks run the 2/1 so getting viable tuning info will be hard. It seems like most 2/1 owners are novice tuners and trying to get past the hurdle of "jetting twice for every one change" Now that that part is out of the way, steer clear of the trinity and chariot 2/1 intakes. They really do choke the bike down. There are a couple of options with the intakes though. An old 440 excited manifold works great with a little work and the other choice would be the Graydon Pro Line. Kinda hard to find but they are out there. When tuning it remember that you will have to really throw fuel at the carb so it can adequately feed both cylinders. The hardest part will be getting the needle dialed in. Typically guys Wind up with EEK needles or whichever needles are prefered for alky flow.
  8. I don't think there are any clearance issues. The last generation had the pegs relocated back and down. I even called AC and some lady answered and just had no clue what to say when I asked her about the peg location
  9. I see where guys like Jesse and Windy are coming from with publicly flaming the builders that have gave them a sour taste. But there does come a time when people need to just move on, and of you do need to say something do it with some class. IE, " I had a HJR motor I just couldn't get right and one phone call to Brandon at Wildcard got my bike running A1!" In all actuality, the HJR complaints have been pretty prevalent lately but any one to say a word gets bashed. Just the way it is around here. For instance, there are pages after pages of threads with people bashing my builder. And none of the people even have a motor built by the guy. They just talk shit because his pipe made a certain gain on a few different motors but not all the motors it was tested on. People asked for proof and they got a few validations but also a few bikes weren't up to par so it was bull shit and all the shearer fans pounced. I just feel like it depends on what day of the week it is around here whether it's ok to bash someone or not.
  10. K&T does a lot of work for the Arab Nations and Middle East. They also compete over there as well so they know what it is that you wanna know. I also believe that Lew Swan dealt with the over seas guys for a bit. Those are gonna be the best two options to discuss your situation with. Who better then the folks who know it first hand.
  11. Definitely snappier.
  12. Bitchin'
  13. Uh, I think I saw a banshee in dirt wheels with those pipes in 1992.... Those are old school.
  14. Don't have video. I have seen a guy do a top end at the track on a big motor and he cycled it twice. The first time was about 10 mins. Might not have been actually been 10 mins, but it was way more then 5. For the record I never said that's how you should do it. I just know that there are a few guys that do it that way and it seems to be fine for them.
  15. HP works on these things for a living, so when he shoots that kinda stuff out there it makes me wonder what he is thinking
  16. Did the transaction at least come with a free bottle of lube?
  17. He refered to the blaster style piston with an additional mm of pin height then the 795 style piston. 795 piston uses 115 rods so an additional mm would be?
  18. Annnnnnnnd..... Cumshot!
  19. So a special 116 rod would be used? Then even less stress is on the crank?
  20. Wow.....
  21. You have a self shot pic as your avatar..... Hmmm
  22. Good for you, glad he finally got another one right.
