  1. I didn't buy the quad from them. I never said I did. I bought it about a year ago from a guy and it ran fine. Then I am running into problems with it now and have tried to figure it out on my own but nothing I seem to do helps or works. I took it there to have them check it over and hopefully tell me exactly what was wrong but they just said it could be this or it could be that. Well I could have told them that too. I was just trying to see if there are any other ideas I have not tried that it may be.
  2. Could it be carb problems maybe?
  3. I guess I just didnt think it would cause it to bog so much from that. Im guessing that is what I will need to do too but I will try to figure it out from here. I am new to the banshee world so I am still learning everything lol
  4. Compression was 94 or so I think. They did do that. I know it is low but would it affect it that much? I have had the carbs cleaned twice and still nothing has helped. Cleaned the reeds and checked all the fuel lines too.
  5. My local yamaha dealer. I just had them run a test to see what was wrong and they just gave me a few different things it could be. Like low compression. But they didnt help much
  6. I also noticed it starting to leak coolant from underneath the motor when I parked it today. Wether or not that has anything to do with my other problems or not.
  7. I have a 2004 Banshee and having troubles. The motor is all stock as far as I know. Just picked it up from a dealer today who claimed "It has a slight blog in the bottom end but other than that runs fine." Well, there is a blog in the bottom end but its more than a slight blog. It almost seems like the throttle reaction is behind but I dont know. I just rode it out of town a couple miles and when I give it gas it seems like it takes a couple seconds to actually take off. But it does blog too, mostly in the bottom end. Does anyone have any ideas here? Or is it just time for a rebuild?
  8. That is no big deal then. Hopefully we will be there long enough to ride at them all! Thanks for the info!
  9. How many different locations right around there are there to actually ride at? And do ATVs have to be titled and registered to ride there?
  10. Anybody ever ride here or know much about the place? Me and a couple friends are planning a trip there over spring break since we have never been there. Just wondered if it was a good place to go
  11. I put new plugs on right before it happened so I didn't think that would be it but I will give that a try too and check the wires and switch them to see if the other side does the same thing. Thanks for the help.
  12. I recently posted about my Banshee problems. Runs like only one cylinder is firing, but then sometimes it runs fine. It all started one day when I was riding down the road and hit a bump and it started bogging out. But it doesn't want to start unless I pull start it. Could this have anything to do with wires not getting connection? So pretty much I'm thinking only one cylinder is firing half the time and don't know why.
  13. I had the jets cleaned when the carb was clean too. I am new to the banshee world so I'm still learning but what should stock compression be? I have read places 110-120 and then others will say closer to 150 or higher.
