  1. Please..... Stop. Reccomending that people bore their stock cyls is a waste of cylinder life. Never bore a good set of cylinders unless needed. It's not economical at all. If you port cylinders early on in their life, what good does it do to bore it out 2 mm just to chase a few CC's and a handful of ponies. Then the first time the motor needs a rebuild it's time for new cylinders. Not worth it. Just the fact that you refer to it as "port and polish" indicates you don't quite grasp the concept. These aren't V8 cylinder heads.
  2. The PT high revs would be a more comparable pipe. Sounds like you have quite the stroke and bore so the displacement will ake care of the bottom end. Maybe some rockets or R2's. The shearers will be tight as well. Ever think Of an out of frame?
  3. Will a simple over bore make more power? No. Is it worth hogging your stock cylinder out to the max? No. Is it even worth doing big bore sleeves in a stock cylinder? No. The only way going after displacement is cost effective and reliable on a banshee is if you step in to a true aftermarket cylinder with several millimeters of bore difference. Those cylinders are typically cast around the larger bore so the port work works with it as well. Not to mention they will also do it with out constantly leaking coolant like a stock cylinder would with a big bore. Don't get me wrong, there are ways to make big bore stock cylinders work, but at this point with the aftermarket we have it's just archaic.
  4. That's what I'm hoping for.
  5. They will always be totally straight and super easy to adjust.
  6. These are kinda cool http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=360590588303&index=23&nav=SEARCH&nid=07921385975
  7. Can we take the trick part out of his new nick name? I just hate the idea of association with that dude.
  8. Numbers and math only make me a carpenter : ( I guess its time to change my resume title.
  9. I would really love a set of the pro pegs with the stainless peg and the aluminum heel plate for Protection from the Studded tires I run on the ice. I can't seem to find them any more though so I am looking at the newest generation of nerf from AC. The only concern I have is peg location. None of the descriptions I have found online describe the difference in location and I even called and of course the lady on the phone couldn't answer my question.
  10. This turned out well.... Aren't companies trying to sell goods or services here supposed to at least pay the premium fee? Boot his ass.
  11. Aren't they known to back out though?
  12. The best part is that he comes here expecting a warm welcome. Then any post people made with a negative comment he asked "Did you run our product?" So he spends all that time asking who ran their stuff, and if he can exchange it, but proceeds to tell people he doesn't really think they have ran RS because they have a negative experience, so it must be BS...... So does any one have one of these awesome new stators, flywheels, timing plates?
  13. I feel like I just watched the episode of undercover boss and the guy finds out how devastated the company really is but he was only nice enough to buy tools or equipment "to make their jobs easier" when really all he is doing is just trying to increase effiicienctcy and productivity.
  14. Yeah just googled it. They are stock style
  15. That's what I thought. 513's and there was a plate he said but we aren't using it. The rods on the crank are CK 158. So they are 115 rods
  16. My buddy got these a LONG time ago with what was apparently a 4 mil kit. But these are just 513's?
  17. The PJ1 stuff is good. Even any engine block paint would be sweet
  18. So that's how they make confetti?
  19. Good start! Get some balls and work the upper window in the intake, and get way deeper in those transfers! That's the make it or break it spot on these two strokes. Maybe build a fixture and triple the exhaust ; )
  20. In all actuality, just about any paint that sticks to aluminum will be fine. My first big bore motor just had silver Rustoleum patio furniture paint on it from the rattle can. Was on there for 4 years and never held grease, never flaked, and never discolored. The cylinders really don't get as hot as some think. Not like the exhaust.
  21. Those bitches are freaky! And they love it rough....
  22. No need to E/Mail, you came to THE public forum for any thing banshee. You also did it publicly and I will give you the info here. Brett Provins. I bought it back in 04 when I did my stock stroke big bore motor. It's gonna be a tough crowd to sway and I feel that you guys may have waited to long. Not trying to be a dick, but you couldn't get me to even waste my time with bolting your NEW replacement on my bike. If I saw a few positive results 5 years from now that showed different statistics on your products then maybe. But you would probably have to pay me to put any thing other then an OEM or rewound OEM on my bike. It's like cheating on your wife, you only get away with so much before enough is enough. Even if you get your shit together, it's a long road back.
  23. Only been selling to these guys for years, just now getting around to checking out what they think. Classy....
