    That pilot is definitely rich. Try the 27.5, the needle is probably ok to start, but I'd imagine the main will need some leaning up as well. Might wind up at about 290. When you swap the pilot take the air screw back in to about a half a turn out to start.

    Yep, I keep wanting to flip them for shearers and the seller always bails or doesn't have as. Ice of stuff as they claim. When they go up I will make a thread.

    Huh.........Most shearers suck, and a lot of the rockets suck as well to fit up.

    I'd imagine you have issues with the shift star, or eccentric screw, maybe even the claw on the shift shaft.

    Just get one of those chincy deep main jet area extension access bolts. Drill and tap the hole. Or even buy a pair of the access nuts for keihin carbs from Marshall and figure out what size the threads are and order up some bungs to weld to the bowls.

    Noss for domes Pods if it doesn't get to wet. If it does, modify the stock box with different boots, and some trimming to get it in and out easier.

    The 33's will let it breathe more then enough flow yet keep some response in the tight stuff. You could be ok wih 28's, but I think with a motor that size you will be wanting more and the 33's will be a perfect medium.

    The pilot is idle to about 1/4 throttle, needle is 1/4-about 3/4 throttle, the main takes over from there which should be where you are at in 5/6th gears.
