  2. Anything Billit. Stay away from cast timing plates.
  3. In theory more balls spreads he weight out better. However, you then end up with smaller balls and higher static load. There was a few really cool article way back on it from Timkin and SKF. I'll see if I can find it.
  4. Duncan Racing was great till about 2000-2005ish and they were forced to move on in to other ventures. They have a few no name fella's running machines in there so there is no way it is the same quality they built their name on. Sorry you got burned, but this is exactly why people need to do research and check out forums.
  5. Fock that junk Who spread your bore?! So negative this morning...
  6. A few MM's of additional transfer can go a long way. Seems like guys are finally getting all the DMX's, Caracal's, Cougar's, and Scimitar's to run consistant. Like anything, if you just keep throwing time and money at it, it's bound to finally run. Lol
  7. Yes, the single cylinder stuff gets the advantage of massive transfers. The twins and triples only have so much room between the bores to cast, so there is less volume.
  8. Rockets on my ported 4mm with 35's were really great on anything but 1/2 mile courses. They made the torque, but when you go to wind it out on long straights they sign off a bit early when you really need over rev. As far as torque and HP gains, the CPI will be the happy medium.
  9. Stand the bike up on the grab bar. Find the thinnest sawzall metal blade you can and just cut between the caps and frame from the underside.
  10. There is no comparison. Lol... But seriously, they are torquey but they were the earliest aftermarket cylinders for these things, so CC to CC the CP Industries cylinders make more power as they have decades of refinement off the shelf. Not really an apples to apples comparison, but the Superior Sleeve stuff was the it cylinder for quite some time.
  11. They are pretty decent.
  12. Yep. Also, try Un screwing the spark plug boots from the coil wires and cut the wires back about 1/2" and thread fresh boots back on. You've certainly ran through the range of jets that should definitely feed the motor what it needs, so I'd really start looking in to other issues.
  13. They are just a larger version of the stock carbs. Look in to flat slide Mikuni TM's or Keihin PWK's. The round slides will leave a bit to be desired.
  14. Get rid of the Ricky Stator and try it. They are notorious for causing electrical issues. One of the most common just happens to be the in ability to rev clean.
  15. Carl has said he is slowing down and taking care of family.
  16. Well, what about the T5's do you like and not like. What are you hoping to gain from a different pipe. That said, T5's feel lazy IMO.
  17. They're junk. If you wanna go bigger, look at PWK's from Keihin or even PJ's. If you're dead set on Mikuni's, look at their TM's (flat slides). The VM round slides leave a lot to be desired.
  18. Paging SheeRider11... OP, are you on FaceBook? If so, hit up Robert Pierce. He has done it.
  19. How big is the track? CPI if it's shorter, Shearers if it's 1/2mile
  20. A cub with 19CC domes should be much higher then that unless the exhaust port has been enlarged to the size of your fist. What's your elevation like?
  21. 421 from Driveline or Serval from Redline
  22. Just looked at pics on EBay. $3,000 and I pay shipping or come pick up?
  23. ^ Haha, true. What about all the high compression stock cylinder motors then? However, it makes sense to put them on a trail pig with a massive motor. Anything to keep these things a little safer is worth it.
