  1. Just AIDS..... Seriously, that thing has ate something and possibly suffered some gnarly detonation. Get it apart and take care of the crank before it let's go and eats the entire motor. It's already coming apart:...
  2. I searched before I posted. Thought for sure there would be one. It's almost identical, just scaled down and only 5 springs.
  3. So, guy calls me and says his kid toasted the clutch on the family blaster. I show up and it's Immaculate! So I yank the bolts and springs out and the pressure plate would not move. Rod and ball were welded. I gave it some oomph and it popped loose, but it ain't coming out. I dropped the news to the guy that we are now pulling the motor to split it. Now, the guy asked what caused that to happen and then went one step further and asked what we can do to prevent it from happening again. I know a pancake is the answer, but I don't really follow the Blaster scene any more as any friends with them moved on to 4 strokes. Does anybody even know if I can get a pancake for a Blaster?
  4. Suggestion/s: -Follow Cam's orders to a T. -Offer that crank to Sleeper06 for a decent deal and then you know it's going to someone who will rebuild it right and it's not getting sold as a grenade to someone who doesn't know better. That should put your conscious at ease. -HJR has a dwindling reputation. It's due to a few factors. You just figured that out the hard way. Never dial that number again.
  5. Those $800 forged can take some abuse.
  6. Don't you have a 392 cub and toomeys? The first thing you should do would be different pipes. It would be the holy shit factor you are looking for.
  7. If you mean you have boyhesons that protrude like those in the photo, use the UPP manifolds. They should clear everything just fine( at least the ones I used a few years ago did)
  8. Jeff at fast can get ya a HotRods trued and welded for a little over $400 usd, not sure what the shipping would be to there, but if imagine you would be in it for about $520 usd.
  9. Could not have been said any better. Welcome back Sean. I've seen to many people not come back from where you are. I hope you keep your current mindset. It is your most valuable asset.
  10. Has she rode any built banshees already? That thing is gonna be a handful. Way more then any chick should feel for their first quad. Just make sure she is capable. I'd hate to hear about someone getting hurt.
  11. Yes, there is a thread pinned in the technical section.
  12. How did you manage to bend a Gear Slammer without snapping it? It has to be bent to hit the stator cover, unless you have some aftermarket cover.
  13. I to have a set of epoxied Tyson cases. They sit on the shelf.... Mock up only.
  14. Hmmmm.... In the states. Rz350 means YPVS liquid cooled. That is RD350. Certainly not for any drag banshee that's for sure.
  15. Cute, yank the tip off the hose or just get a long blue hose to go on that. Those things can be responsible for a melt down on a hungry motor. The little tip doesn't flow enough for the vacuums the fuel system can make on long pulls.
  16. You can mush the bronze bushing out of the gear and replace it with a steel bushing from FAST. Make sure to use a new clip on install.
  17. Since it is a mono jug, the surface "SHOULD" be flat. Hard to imagine someone running a mill across that cylinder and not getting it right but I guess it's possible. Any way, given that every thing is flat, make sure the cylinder is torqued on to the base gasket evenly. If all that adds up, yank that crank and have it checked.
  18. AFM gaskets. Couple different brands out there, but even the worst are better then the best paper gaskets.
  19. Before Jim went AWOL, he got the 12 port thing sorted out. My 12 port is a beast. Someone should snatch it up.
  20. Check powervalves and domes. Also possible that those pipes are just a bit small for the near 500cc motor.
  21. Usually you don't see that with out trenching. There appears to be a blob flowing in to the transmission case area as well?
  22. No need for shiny new carbs. You could of found used PWK 's or flat slide Mikuni's for what you spent on snowmobile carbs that need additional money spent on internal parts.
  23. Suppose now that you wrapped up your AA meetings and got your life back on track you've got it all figured out..... After all, regardless of whether or not alcohal kills more people then weed, it's legal so you and your upper class friends can get fucked up whenever.
  24. Once you rack first, if you keep pushing down it will feel like the lever is able freely float up and down about an inch. Totally normal. It won't just click down and be rock solid.
