  1. True, some fellas down there are getting pretty good. But the fastest are sending their junk to the states, or paying builders to come down to PR to set their stuff up.
  2. $250 shipped. They are the actual stainless peg version. To be honest I was willing to pay 3 for those because every time I find a set they are the aluminum peg style not stainless.
  3. That thing is a monster! Bet it's fun.
  4. Nice to know.
  5. No way in hell any cop was gonna impound my shit when it's on a trailer. I am not the cop hating type(even with criminal history). But if I had paper work brought out and he still wanted my shit, he would of had to give me the Treyvon Martin treatment before there was any cooperation. I know some of you don't agree with that since you're affiliated with or have friends/family that are cops. However we all know there are a lot of cops who use the badge as a means of making others miserable. This is when I start advocating dead cops.
  6. Pretty sure he has folded up shop. At least to the general public. It was nice work though.
  7. Not what I saw. I was referring to a cheetah that KAN built. There was such little difference between the pods and new box set up that I was actually surprised. I'll just leave it like this. Every time something works but just a little people feel they need to embellish the truth and this is one of those times. I personally don't know what Arsene's claims were, but I'd imagine they were up there with those UFO carb inserts.... Haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks for that link, I just used the make an offer feature and saved quite a bit on that price. They are on their way.
  9. If that bike isn't burning at least the minimum reccomendation from FMF, you need to look at electronics.
  10. I prefer 32/1 personally regardless of brand. The 50/1 synthetics I have ran and formed an opinion based on experience. They do provide adequate lube for a run of the mill stock bikes and such. But I feel they don't provide the extra cushion of oil a hi performance motor should get. If you mix the Amsoil at 32:1 it makes quite a cloud. Pistons, definitely a forged Weisco or WSM. Has that motor been jetted properly for sure? Also with those domes, you should definitely consider making sure that crank is welded.
  11. Did you PM him? If not he is on facebook.
  12. Did you PM him? If not he is on facebook.
  13. What do the plugs look like? Were they new?
  14. Ya, you're looking at a fun build.
  15. Start looking at the electrical.
  16. 795 series weiscos. Lock up will depend on porting. But a Dune ported 4mm with good pipes is borderline in my opinion. I am one of the few that prefers a lock up even on bikes that don't need it since it allows you to run way less clutch spring pressure so the lever is nice and soft.
  17. I've still got a full fill station from paintball, need to replace the valve before any one will fill it again. It's about 2yrs past date.
  18. Approach the bottom end in a way that all bases are covered and you might as well do any upgrades that you may need now since you're going in there. Here's a quick list: -kicker idler bushing -modded shift shaft, shift star, roller detent arm -pancake bearing -fresh clutch and replace any worn components -fresh seals and good sealer (don't forget to put sealer on the keyway on the crank'a primary gear) -crank trued and welded as well as fresh outer bearings if it's in good shape -transmission bearings -replace any misc. clips, retainers, and use full clips where you can (get it from a vendor here and not the dealership) Also, if you are ever considering a much higher output motor in the future, consider doing the trans while it's out of there. There are guys that can do some machining that helps it shift a bit more like a honda instead of a Mack truck.
  19. Those carbs are fine for your set up. The tors delete would make things tidier, easier to work on, and be more reliable.
  20. PM BansheeHP, he just posted a quick repair for that not to long ago.
  21. Haha, super optimistic. Been up since 7, already got my Tim Horton's, and I'm headed home after drywall. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Ya don't say...... And the other 2/3 of folks who sign up and leave after a few weeks can't seem to grasp this concept.
