  1. I got stiffed for a set of V-8 clynder heads. Paid thru paypal and got the shaft. Paypal sucks. they are a division of ebay. Unless the seller has the money in their account you are screwed. With the money order thing it is mail fraud. get the contact info for the seeler and contact the postmaster general and the Seller's local police dept. she'll cough up the dough or parts REAL quick.
  2. Another tech tip. if you are worried about those chips getting everywhere inside the carbs dip the tap in bearing grease before you start tapping the carb body. It serves 2 purposes, lubrication and it catches the chips
  3. YOU WEREN'T THE ONLY ONE. BANSHEEHQ is a censored phrase over there. any posts relating to it are deleted. kinda thought that was funny....
  4. thinner base gasket or shave a stock head to bring your quench into the dimension you want. Don't forget to take into account the compressed thickness of the head gasket or O-Rings.....
  5. 50/50 will work fine My bike runs fine with straight 91.
  6. thread files are for "midly" damaged threads. Triangle files can "restore" some threads that a lot of people would say are toast. Glad to hear the triangle file worked for you... be careful in the future. Splitting your case to replace that shaft is no fun. I had a friend use an impact on the drive sprocket nut and crossthread the fuck out of it. No fixing that one!
  7. I have a set of fatty's. Where are you located? Maybe we can work something out.
  8. Ihave 3 or 4 stock heads. pay for shipping and I will send you 1.
  9. currently have skate II's Sand Stars Sand Sharks Kenda the Trackers and haulers For cheap paddles that work for duning, sand sharks BEST V-PADDLE, Skate II's good all around value, Stars Best paddle Period HAULERS if you know how to use the throttle you don't need the v paddle If you are getting a screaming deal on those paddles and aren't going to be hillshooting only then they will work great.
  10. They didn't bulldoze the jump. the dunes just shifted and it "moved" on its own. As far as the Rangers closing olds, the last time i was there on a "busy" weekend they just tried to get the party crowd out. You could still go to olds if you duned there. Also check out glamis info dot com for the nekkid pics. haven't been there in forever but there are plenty of bared breasts to look at.
  11. Red neck? naw that is using your head. just remember its gonna be hot (making the sign)
  12. 2 questions. Is the crank log rod? Price shipped to 92040 in california
  13. Triangle file(if the threads aren't completely hosed) Or try any of the industrial supply outlets. J&L industrial is my current favorite for that type of stuff their prices might be the best on everything but their customer service and shipping times and hard to beat.
  14. rolling out wed night and camping at the "T" on sand highway and the road to olds in the trees.
  15. Set up on my wifes bike with: no porting K&N No lid Boysen rad valves t-5's Toomey needles 280 mains 27.5 pilot 1.5 turns out on idle screw needle on 3 groove from the top Jetted for Glamis. In the colder months I go 2 grooves from the top with the needle. Them main is a bit fat but fat won't kill the motor like lean will. Always start FAT and lean it down. Read the jetting sticky.
  16. Adrenaline Addiction Racing Development Adrenaline Addiction Racing Innovative Racing solutions Predatory Racing Development Prostituted Institute for Motorized Philandering (P.I.M.P.) Racing Yeah that last one was a stretch... I'll keep thinking about it and edit this post when i come up with more.
  17. Do you give any kind of break on the shipping or cost for hq members? Just asking.... looking at a radiator
  18. I have put 2 bikes upright in my Nissan short bed to go to glamis before. An old LT250r and a banshee. Worked fine. Just tie it down 4 corners at the front of the bike to the tie down hooks in the bed. Trailers work much better though.
  19. still have the nerfs? send me a pm if you do. TTT
  20. another bump. Still some great parts at cheap prices here on the left coast.
  21. I had a 1998 305 Z71 with a baja 16 foot Toyhauler pulled it with 2 banshee's a a generac 5500 generator 6200lbs loaded... hates the hill 35-40 mph at 4 mpg your 5.3 will pull better but mileage will suck. Get a rebel or a diesel to pull...
  22. Bunch of other stuff spoken for. Plastics, spindles, seat and stock tank Now to arrange pickup and payment  hmm swinger, steering, and axle and i have a roller
  23. Bump for a lot of good parts and a great seller
  24. I have the modified Shift drum (alba sells them) and the shifter star. Shift star helps a bunch but that shift drum makes a night and day difference. Every banshee i build is going to get one of those!
  25. Got the frame already Thanks! Anyone have any reservations about him as a seller... they are unfounded!
