  1. Oh very nice Dually! What little tuner do you have installed on it?
  2. I personally like the rattle of the 24's better  But yes the 12 valves do sound nice with timing...we can't get as "finiky" with our timing, which sucks. But yes straight pipe only...not too small and not too big
  3. That clown would be me, back when I first joined. I found a random pic on Google and used that in another persons sig...turned out to be Ellison's picture. After talking to him everything was cool and good, just had to add his name into the pic. This is it if you are wondering: That is the only one I can think of Loco..
  4. Alright, I'll post this one up for now. The only thing so far I am unsure of is the sayings, which could be changed.
  5. Getting there, lol I got one made up for FT/TT style, but I'm just not sure about the saying on it... In the mean time I'm working on a sand one right now, only 1/4 done..using one of your pics  I'll post them up as soon as I get them done, really if I don't win the contest it ain't no lose to me
  6. Well if they ever have questions about it, problems, etc, shoot me a message and I'll try to answer them. Especially with repairs/diagnoses so they don't have to go to the dealership :ermm:
  7. I wouldn't say they look like shit, they just aren't as good as quality as the others but they are still good to have on there. And resizing pictures usually only fucks them up if you go from a set small picture, then try to enlarge it. You and the computer are trying to add pixels that just aren't there, which equals the blur :ermm: As I look again though, those pictures where just taken and had the total height of the image shortened...which also will get your detail crummy.
  8. Sounds like a pretty good deal. What size did you end up going with?
  9. If he is threatening the website, as well as other members (whether new or old) we should not have to put up with his shit. Just recently even on the website banner topic he has to try and start shit. We don't need people coming on here just to stir up shit and piss people off. You got something to say/rant/want to get off your chest, take it to the Roostin' Room; not the entire fricken website. And when that topic is all done, get over it and move on... don't be an asshole for your duration of stay on here...JMO
  10. Seems you have figured out the problem, but I was going to suggest your needle position! If you are out riding, revving fairly low and you go to snap the throttle or even walk into it normally. A bad position in the needle clip can cause no to really slow ass acceleration, usually actually bogs, or just sounds like its running out of fuel (kinda). What is your elevation and air temp? 32.5 Pilots seem a bit big even with the mods you are running.
  11. Are you tightening down the plugs properly? Stupid question I know but some people stop as it just gets snug, to only find out they haven't seated the washer yet..
  12. Have you tried a different browser just to see if it does the same thing?
  13. BC is a pretty far distance from me! haha. That would be like driving from Washington State to Ohio for you US guys  The drive for me to go right to Dave would be like Ohio to Iowa, which isn't too far. Thanks! A 12 valve would be nice, specially being as you don't have to worry about any sort of IP or LP problems. First thing I would do with a 12 valve would be to take care of the KDP, then go from there. 24 Valves do have that issue too, it's just more uncommon than on 12 valves. But then I thought to myself, with the 12 valves, you are at a set HP level once you are done bombing. At least with an electronic IP/engine there is the ability to change on the fly, or at least load some different ECM flashes. Can be cruising along with 300HP, taking it easy for fuel mileage. Want to play, whatever, flick some switches and what not and have a crap load more fuel running through! The Vp44 doesn't scare me much either, most fail due to lack of fuel/lubrication or electronic failure due to high heat/heat cycles. Granted you can go quite a while on one before it dies (figuring under hood temps are normal and good positive pressure of fuel). And the 24 valve's have a nicer sound than the 12 or CR's, IMO
  14. Some people will use Microsoft Paint, others will use Photoshop...doesn't really matter as long as they look fancy! Remember, make it your best 2 that you post up! You don't want to post up a couple of your first ones or rough copies and that is all you can enter  Good Luck
  15. Hmm, as far as I know they have always been 785ish pixels wide. Your 20" will make them look smaller since the entire web page itself will probably be wider on that screen. Also depends on the Resolution you are viewing the screen at as well as what the screen is capable of. You are probably viewing at, or around 1680 X 1050 resolution (I'm guessing) so they will seem smaller compared to other lower resolution / smaller screens. The higher the resolution of your monitor (more Pixels X Pixels), the smaller a set size banner will look for you. Like 785 wide Pixel banner on a 1024 X 768 resolution screen will look huge, being as it's almost the full width of the screen. Switch over to a higher resolution (like 1680 X 1050 lets say) and your not even at half the width of the screen with 785 Pixels. Hope that is not too confusing!
  16. Bill over at DTT, where is he located? I know quite a few people with Goerend and DTT trannies and they seem to be very happy.
  17. How many banners are people allowed to enter? :geek:
  18. They look good, we needed a change from the older ones. Maybe I'll try to scan through the forums and locate some FT/TT pictures and throw one together... And thanks Tyler
  19. I will be going with a tranny from Dave at Goerend. Will be getting the regular built transmission plus a few other goodies, but I'm just not 100% yet on what I should go with. Either Tranny + Billet Flex and Billet Input.....Or....Tranny+ Billet Flex and Billet Output. Reason being for the input is at least if the output breaks (I don't do very many boosted launches) it is easier to replace than the Input. Then again I might cancel the Billet Flex, and get both Billet In and Out...hmm decisions :geek: The other thing too that might catch me is Labour (though a tranny place should be able to R&R fairly quickly). I live quite aways away from Dave so purchasing a tranny and getting is shipped here would be huge amounts of $$$$$$$. So I figure I might as well drive to him, or one of his installers and get it done over a weekend (hopefully). Thanks! For a bit I was looking towards 03-04, but wasn't finding too much. And apparently the 03's have quite the fuel system/injector issues. Also, the price of bombing out a CR is pretty pricey compared to the VP44 24 Valve.
  20. That is correct, up here our larger digits are for km/h instead of m/h. Might take a bit before I see 200 m/h out of these old Cummins
  21. Got around to swapping my gauges over from the Dually. Had to wait for a new A-Pillar mount to come in which took a bit. So far only Boost and Tranny are functioning since I havn't swapped over my HT Turbo/Exhaust Manifold (don't feel like drilling and tapping my stock exhaust manifold for EGT Gauge) and AirDog lift pump.
  22. 1 Large Black  I'll give you a shout sometime about payment...since I don't have pay pal
  23. Hmm, for the back, do we want a picture of a Banshee/something along those lines. Or do we want just another slogan/text? For a picture, I'm wondering if an outer and inner boarder of a Banshee/Rider picture would do. Like I dunno, maybe this style of design or something like it  (Firehead's Quad) But then again, I'm not sure how much detail can be had on shirts for relatively cheap...
  24. I'm going to be using it for parts as of right now. Probably pull the engine and tear it down for shits and giggles. I might also use the block off my dually so that I can mock up a twin set up easily. No, no veggie oil, if anything I will mix 2 stroke oil with my fuel. I'm excited to start building it up though, stock trucks are so slow
  25. I was editing them in photoshop and took them off the topic for a sec,lol
