What would happen if i took some sand paper to my stock exhaust ports...like smoothed them out a little and made it a tiny bit bigger Or do you need to have them a certain perfect shape, cause if it would help at all, id smooth, polish mine up a bit I dont know nothing about porting, but trying to learn

How much do single carbs usually run for I am looking at getting one this summer, cause im tired of my stock carbs

Maybe once you have; advanced timing, good reeds, good carbs, good head. Then you would have to fiddle with your jetting to get it perfect.... I could be wrong but other guys will chip in and help out
