When I painted my pipes(DG, sock silencers) i cleaned them up real good with a wire wheel, cleaned with rag, then put on about 4 coats of flat black, looks nice...And im thinking of ordering T5's unpainted(less money..lol) and was going to paint them as well, do you know what color you want to paint them?

What do the threads look like on your A-arm? When i took my front end apart i wasnt thinking and hit the threads to get it out and so i bent the threads all to hell ...took me 2 hours to "re-make" the threads

I say cut them ....i asked around if i should do mine and so i finally just went and took a utility knife and cut them, love the look now

Hey everyone, was thinking of taking my engine out to clean up the frame, paint, etc. Just wondering if its pretty easy to take the engine out and what do i have to take off to achieve this. i just dont want to screw anything up Thanks

I agree with Banshee Tuner ...13 would be good for sand Yea i have 13/42 right now, i run roads and large gravel pits, so im hitting the power band to quick...got 14/40 coming though

Guess they thought the slippery part of it would help , then once they royaly screwed it they blamed it on not having enough soap

do you have TORS or are they gone?....and what is the temp and elevation around where you live

if you are able to pull the choke out half and it runs mint, then you are running lean....did you try adjusting your air mixture screw?...you could even have an air leak in the carb boots after the re-build..does it idle higher than it should?

i'v seen guys say that 13/41 works great in the sand, but if you are going to be doing some trails too, 14/41, 14/40 would probably work out good...what did you have before?

You say there is no where AT ALL to keep your bikes...even if you dont have much money you could possibly build a little shed for them that you can lock them up in
