I have a friend who shaved his front plastics on his Z400, and he says he gained 10 km/h just from cutting them. I like the looks of cut fenders on banshee's so im thinking of doing mine, just the fronts for now...so will i get more speed, or just get to the top quicker...he's telling me ill gain at least 10 km/h???

So you think i should get a new chain for going from a 13 to a 14, or can i adjust enough to have the right slack And im not going to be doing much trailing, mostly be on roads, in fields and in large gravel pits...and yes a 13 you have to shift too much just for cruising im always reaching for 7th

Yea ill probably have the 14 on most of the time, and ill try the 15 to see how it goes and if i can pull it alright, ill use it when im on the roads, flat land....oh another thing, do you think going from a 13 to a 14, will i need tp get a new chain, or do you think the stok chain will have enough length to handle it?

I have an 87 banshee, and i havnt been riding it lately because i havnt been able to get out and get new mains and pilots...right now i have 270 mains, and im not sure what my pilots are(guessing 25)...it is around 0, -10 degrees here right now, im about 900 feet above sea level, K&N Filter W/O Lid, DG pipes, Stock Silencers and Boyesen Reeds..i know i need to go up on the mains because it cuts out when i get near 3/4 throttle, and it wont start even with the choke on...so my question is, what general area do you think i should have my main, pilot, and needle clip in..ill do plug chops but i was just wondering what area i should be looking at?..thanks

Maybe when you stalled it those 3 times you fouled the plugs...check them and wipe them dry to make sure they arnt all wet, or else they wont spark, or just put new ones in, and let us know if that helped at all

I counted it yesterday and im pretty sure that its a 13 tooth, i will count again tomorrow to make sure...yea i mostly ride roads in my area, and in gravel pits, few hills, my tires are 20 inches tall, and are an old style blackwater that are pretty much almost bald..lol..and yea i was thinking of getting both to see how it goes ..thanks for the replies guys

I am going to get new jets for my banshee next week and was thinking about getting a new front sprocket too. Right now i have 13/41(which is stock i think) and i was thinking of going to a 14, and then MAYBE a 15 if i can pull it..do you guys think i can pull a 14, or even 15 Bored 364cc-Wiseco Boyesen Reeds Dg Pipes/Stock Silencers K&N Filter/Lid Off Boost Bottle(came with it) Oops, forgot i was in Product Review..ill just wait for this to be moved..sorry

I just had a top end put in it about 3 weeks ago. It has spark, and i changed the spark plugs. ill check the bowls and see if i put them in wrong by mistake. Thanks Guys

Hey everyone...I have an 87 banshee, and it takes a lot of fiddling with the choke, and kicking it over about 100 times before i finally get it going. If i take out the left spark plug and start it, it usually starts first kick, put it back in and i wont start. I was on it tonight, stoped for a bit, let it idle then went to get moving again in first, stalled..then it wouldnt start after like 10 kicks so i tow started it and started right away. Any ideas as is what the problem is is greatly appreiciated!...im thinking that its the carbs

I live near London, Ontario..and even though the snow that just fell is all soft powder, there are guys out on the trails already..i dont have a sled just yet, hoping to get one soon..something arctic cat or ski-doo

Just wondering how much snow all you guys have already ....i have around 5-7 inches that fell last night and today..time to get the sleds going! ...suppose to be one hell of a winter this year
