  1. Best of luck to ya....
  2. Calvin actually talked down a little to HQ, that's how I read it. I think the post may be deleted, but...I pretty much said it's too bad he had that opinion, there are plenty of us on here that run his product, including myself and just about all the guys I ride with. Jeff @ FAST, Jim @ Passion and Kevin @ Herr Juggs Racing post here. Kevin probably the most as of just lately. I'd like to see Nate and Tim come over here...to be honest, I haven't seen Nate post too much over there lately. Tim's on a lot. Jerry...there are a lot of paying members on there believe it or not. There is info on there that is just not available here...yet. Don't know if it ever will be here, I hope it is....it would be nice. I still consider HQ my home. Keep in mind, if you're gonna sell products here (which you should, I have 'em and love 'em...) you should pick up a sponsor tab of some sort. If you're gonna sell a part here or there no big deal. But you offer a lot of parts...and at great prices. I would love to be a dealer for your parts, I'm just not a brick and mortar type, out of my bud's garage, over the net and on the phone is how I work my deals.... I would PM Lee, the site admin and owner, to see what kind of sponsor packages he offers. It will be better exposure for you...and more profitable as well. Not trying to tell you what to do, but as a member of this board, PS and Everything2Stroke.com, you'll get more biz by purchasing a banner and trying to give back a little compared to what you can get out of it. Hell, I'll even rep ya in my sig. Guys...check these out...bad ass from Chariot. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Banshee-Bil...1QQcmdZViewItem
  3. I've read that article and I've always been a believer in that. I've said time and time again don't put anything in the gas tank that you don't plan on running on any given day....no special "break in" oil. I've got a buddy that swears on breaking in pistons on gas then putting a bike on methanol... The key is let the bike warm up then go for a ride. Period...especially with nikasil cylinders. Get it up to or damn close to operating temps...then rip. My 4 mil cub on gas went right from a few heat cycles to the dyno. It ripped ass...
  4. Fine point. Do a cold and warm compression check.
  5. I've got CPI Chrome inframes for sale, non stamped version, 400 plus shipping.
  6. It comes right off. I"m not sure if it's a snug rubber boot fit or a hose clamp, but it comes right off with no other mods.
  7. Brady is up and running at home again...he can take it from here.
  8. One of three things, realistically two...though. 1. Jetting is so pig fat, it'll start and run good cold (they need more fuel dead cold) but when it warms up...it's too fat and fouls the plugs. 2. Electrical, could be any one of the items listed. Heated up, electrical problems show their head. 3. Overheating (most unlikely) unless you're blowing coolant out the overflow tube....and reving the piss out of it would only make things worse.
  9. I'd say one of two things, float height is set incorrectly or too rich of a main.
  10. He's a little wigga wanna be gangster. Still lives with Mom and Dad in their basement...blares rap music out of his pimped out Pinto. Probably shit his pants if you called him out in person...another perfect example of a keyboard/Internet tough guy...
  11. Remove the snorkel on the airbox....you have a pro flow adapter. The jetting is fine, if not a little rich (Probably need 250 main with a full airbox setup). Do NOT put 30 pilots in there. You have an electrical problem would be my guess, if the carbs are cleaned out and working properly. It's not your jetting.
  12. Very nice bike....clean. Good luck.
  13. 15/45, start in second. YOu get a strong port job and get a 6 over swinger 8 paddles won't be enough. I weigh 250lbs, with a 6 over I ran 10 paddle haulers, or you could run 9 paddle extremes... Eventually you're gonna want to move up to an override and lockup to be able to shift under full power, let me know when you're ready for that.
  14. What is your air filter setup? If you already posted it...I didn't catch it. One cylinder fouling out could mean a few things. Plugged carb, bad spark plug, ignition issue, carbs out of sync....list goes on. How is the overall health of this motor? Good compression, etc?
  15. These will work just fine. http://www.vitosperformance.com/atv_parts/...at=0&page=1
  16. CDI plugs will be different too.
  17. Nice post Wes....even for having a few Coronas....LOL. That is exactly how I do it as well. One last thing I would add is make sure you get WOT on the carbs. Bike turned off, hold the throttle wide open and reach into the back of the carb....it should have a clear path all the way through it with no interference from the slide....
  18. Next year, unless I hit the Mega Millions....LOL. Shayne, talked to Sean on the phone the other day. I'm pretty sure...not positive, it's a 24mil stroke and 85 or something spread bore twister cylinder from Louie ported by Dan @ A&S. I'm pretty sure it was over 800ccs. It's gonna have as much torque as our bikes have HP...that's gonna be a wild ride.
  19. Clippard style work fine. If the Dave Moore are too pricey for ya, you're stuck with the standard old run of the mill. I've got dual feed clippard style with a venturi type thing on them for my Lectrons. They work... I used Dave Moore Super Jets on my 39PWKs before I had the Lectrons...
  20. Let me know John...these are not my items, so...not much bargain room. I will do whatever I can for you, however...

  24. Sorry we're gonna miss you JD. I simply can't get up and be on the road by 6 AM or so to make that early a start date. When we do the T&T then race, it's early like that...and it's tough for the East Side guys...
