  1. You're in a win win situation. T6 pipes hold their value pretty well, as do T5s. They're probably the best selling pipes of all time...in fact, I think the T5s are. The bike ported is gonna rip. T6 are a damn fine pipe. If you were going to go drag porting, etc., then I would say skip Toomey all together and get CPIs or Shearers...but, you're going with a dune port. I'm sure that motor will run just fine, he does nice work. You'll find most people that say get rid of the T6s and get T5s have had only one, maybe two sets of pipes in their entire life, still running the same motor config, and have never tried T6 back to back with T5s on their given motor... What it all stems from is this. On Toomey's website (who was bought out, forgot by who) it says T5s are for ported motors, T6s are for stock motors. Well...Toomey doesn't do porting. Or if he did, it was a LONG time ago... So...that being said, how many different sets of cylinders do you think he tested that out with? Zero. He probably took a set of stockers and put T5 and T6 pipes on it back to back and dyno'd it. T6 won. Some guy might have ground up a set of cylinders and gave them to Stuart Toomey to try...they made more power with T5s...so he put that disclaimer on the site. There are dozens if not hundreds of builders out there. Who's to say the ported cylinders he tried T6s on was worth a shit in the first place. Go for it...you have very good alternatives if they don't work out. My money says you'll be fine.
  2. Unplug: The brain under the tank Both sets of wires going into the carb tops The parking brake/clutch lever wires going into the harness Cut the wires going into the stock throttle. You're done.
  3. Tom... I would bet you don't notice much difference at all from T5 to T6.... Go for it...let us know how it turns out...!!

    Shearer Pipes

Jesse, I'm waiting on Details (Big or small bore), pics and pricing as we speak.... My boy Brady sells good stuff, he's just not on HQ much.... I'll get the details and post it, and PM you as well.

    Shearer Pipes

Not my pipes, my buddy JUST asked me if I knew anyone that wanted them...like 15 minutes ago...

    Shearer Pipes

Would you settle for a set of inframe unstamped CPIs?
  7. Pretty sure it's a drag axle, but I'm pretty sure he's keeping that for his drag banshee.
  8. A good friend and fellow racer is parting out his Raptor, drag/dune bike. Chrome, billet, all the goodies. He's coming over to the banshee dark side, building a 10 mil, so he's parting out a bike to offset the drag banshee cost blues. If you guys need something, let me know.... If you're a Planet Sand Member, you can look in 4 stroke classified under the user Newtz.
  9. And...if it's been sitting that long (winter) I'd rather get fresh stuff from JT as well!!!!
  10. You can use the blaster pistons in a stock cylinder big bore, if it's a long rod motor. The blaster uses the same 5mm offset in wrist pin height as the 795 series wiseco, they're just available in different size bores (bigger ones) HOWEVER... Whomever is cutting the head or domes for the motor needs to know that because the crown shape and deck height is different for the blaster pistons vs. the banshee or 795 series.
  11. D'oh....thread miner, my bad...didn't even think to look at the date...
  12. for a 7 mil cub I'd be very happy with those numbers, good job!!!!
  13. Fouledout421 uses them in his 4 mil cub done by Nate McCoy, and Nate will swear by them... I get good pricing on Wiseco locally, or I'd use them in my 10 mil with no reservations.
  14. Didn't mean to sound like a jerk or anything...either. If I came across that way...sorry. Don't forget, going to different tracks can be like using different dynos, as well. Compared against each other, normally the results will vary, apples to oranges. But used against itself for performance measures, it's a good idea...
  15. That's just how we all roll. Need something...ask. Got something we need...help a brother out. it's all good. Honestly, I have probably 1/2 to 3/4 of a tank on the bike. I'd like 5 gals which I'll flip a few bucks to JT for. It'll be cheaper and easier than getting 5 gals of M1.
  16. I do once in a GREAT while...but I haven't had too much time to fool around. It's cool as all hell, and so easy to get online. That's one thing I don't like about the other Wii games, you have to know your friends number to play against them online, this is just EASY as all hell!!
  17. Perfect JT. that'll save me time and money to get a 5 gallon of M1... Thanks!!!
  18. 200 HP plus spray requires a little more chassis...LOL. I can't wait to see this thing run.
  19. God Damn..McFly... That frame is sweet....you weren't kidding!!! Can't wait to see it go down the track!!
  20. It's not the fact that it's German...it's the fact the Bosch Platinum has a TEENY, Tiny electrode which can get dirty and foul easier. Some of the fastest and best bikes out run the standard run of the mill BR8ES or BR9ES plus...

    4 mil crank

Why don't you buy one from Jeff??
  22. That's AWESOME!!! Are these pavement or dirt track cars?? I'd love to ride around the track in something like that fo sho...
  23. No...NOT a no go by any means. I've looked at the weather, it is not in our favor. I will continue to keep in touch with Roger (alcoholbanshee who lives literally 5 minutes from the track) and Bob as well to see if we get watered out or if it's gonna be a go. I'm just posting the week in advance weather report. Maybe be doing so it'll ward off the rain...LOL. I'm dying to ride my bike....
  24. AMEN... 1 to 2 cars ahead of me if that....
  25. Roger...does that twister take the same base gasket as a big bore/cub/OEM cylinder? If so...maybe I can get one from Evan, depending on what you need... Let me know if i can help.
