  1. I would say its time for a new set of rings if not a complete top end job. Even at a 110 that would be low enough copression that I would at least trear her down and inspect it. If you had a base gasket leak she would of leaned out and blown up. If you would of had a leak in the head gasket it would of smoked a sweat smelling white smoke, and I have never heard of a head cracking. Wiseco recomends that you replace your rings every 100 hour of rideing. I bet they are just worn, and when they warm up it just increases the blow by.
  2. can anybody post a pic.
  3. It depends on how many hours where on that top end. It could of failed because they were just wornout. As far as the port job goes I would research who you take them to there is a huge differance in a average port job and a great port job. As far a I am conserned porting cylinders is an art form take it to some that knows how to do it.
  4. I think that would be a question for your motor builded. If he feels confedent that he can do it I wouldn't waste time. Porting is one of the mods that will give the most performance. The right port job can be night and day differnce for performance If the porter nick a freshly bored cylinder I would think that would be on his $. In the end I would leave it up to the builder you choose.
  5. you don't have to bore your cylinders to have them ported. I don't see why you couldn't port them with the current pistons.
  6. I have a brand new set of graydon nerfs that are chrome. They have been sitting in shop for three years now. They have yellow nets first 90 dollars takes them.
  7. I have a 485 cheetah with powervalves, and it will smole any four stroke I've ever been on. I love it great low end and killer top. It dyno at 102 hp and 62 lb's of torgue on gas.
  8. The more mods that you have done to your motor the more the crank will help.
  9. 1500 cc's. When I change fluids I use a ratio right and put in exactly 1500 cc's in. That way I know its right.
  10. you can expect a 10 to 15 percent increase depending on your set up, but I would spend my money on porting first. You will more power gains out of a good port job.
  11. I would run a wiseco stroker crank and the 795 series pistons. That is the crank I'm running in my cheetah. I don't know about the cubs but mine has power through out the entire power band.
  12. I know the dyna has a stock cureve setting that would be just like your stock cdi but a little hotter spark. If you used there advance settings it would be advanced plus what you already had the timeing set at.
  13. I live in KS, that a little closer I would give 300 for it. I beleive ups will ship frames.
  14. That is a fireball axle. JJ&A has quite making the 34 inch for a short time, but a new design will be released shortly.
  15. Give me a price for chrome set, or just uppers if you can get them in stock geomerty?
  16. 97 on stock cylinders seem a litle far fetched but I'm sure it can be done. What you have to realize is that when push stock cylinder that far reliebility and rideablity get thrown out for hp's.
  17. The regular stroke banshee hot rod cranks don't come welded you have to hvae it done yourself. The 4mm stroker crank the h129 does come welded from the factory.
  18. somebody has to have some of these
  19. The ones carb parts warehouse are selling are made in the same factory overseas as kehiens they are the exact same thing as a pwk. The only reason they are haveing them made is that pwk's don't come in a 30 mm carb which is a great seize carb for a banshee.
  20. It depends on how much money you want to spend. You could run your stock crabs and have no problems. IF you wanted to get new carbs I would go with the 30mm ones from carb parts warehouse on ebay for around two hundred. They use the same body as a kehien.
  21. I would run premium even in a bone stock banshee. I wouldn't chance it for the price.
  22. I sure wouldn't run 84 octane gas. Run a compression test on to anything over 180 I would run race gas for sure. A few extra buck on gas each hour is better than rebuilding a motor. If race fuel is to rich for your blood just go to a larger cc dome. That is what cool heads were designed for tuneabiliity.
  23. what size is it. If you under 80-85 hp any good clutch with all 6 heavy duty springs past that you will need a lock up, a hinson 8 plate setup or a nmotion 9 plate. If you go with a lock up I can get you a good deal. Just shoot me a pm.
  24. I need some aftermarket J-Arms. I would perfer stock geomerty but I would take +2+1's
  25. I would think the 30 would be a good choice. The 34's be a little over kill for a duner.
