Shearer uses a triple nickel chrome. Compareed to cpi or toomey that use a triple show chrome. It just depends on the luck of the draw. Some batchs turn out looking just like show chrome and some turn out not as nice. You never no which you will get. They will show chrome their pipes for an extra charge, at least they did for me.

To incorperate the larger maggents they made the walls of the flywheel thinner. This make lightening them very risky. It also voids any warrenty that they have. I know this first hand. I had one lightened and it only lasted about 20 hours. Granted it was on a 100+hp 485 cheetah motor but I still wouldn't try it. The perfomace you gain would not be worth the cost of a new flywheel.

do you need big bore or std 350? I have a set of bb inframes that are bare I would sell you pretty cheap, or I can order you the small bores also if that what you need.

It really depends on how much motor and tire you have. I would recomend no more then +4. I have a 485 cheetah that is 100+ hp on gas and I'm only running a +2. It is a real hand full but is sure is a rush to ride. If your running +2 a-arms that would make a big difernce also. For every inch forward it is like adding 2 inchs to your swingarm.

I think most people buy them big and just break them to size with a chain break. I would try a 140 link.

You might have bad gas. It is an easy fix just empty the tank and put in new. if that fixes the problem great.

I have shearer bigbore inframes on my cheetah 485 and I love them. They dynoed at 95 horse and 60 lb's. I have never run rockets but I do like them better the cpi's. Just my two cents. In the end I would go with what your builder says he would now that motor better then any body else.

I need a set of bigbore cpi inframes new or used doesn't matter just a good price.

The carb's are gone I traded them for a set of 38 airstrikers. I still hvae the intake if some one is interested. Like I said it is brad new 100 plus shipping will take it.

digatron makes them with tach, egt,cht, all build into one. They are killer units.

I have seen some dyno numbers on the v-force it's 3 horsepower across the board. I doubt you would get that with a head.

It is a very reliable mod if the weight is taken off the sides. How much do you weigh? If you are under 200 I would do it. If you are over I wouldn't the motor need the weight of the flywheel if you are heavier.

I have heard of several that broke just like your because the took material off the face if you have one lightened make sure they just do the sides.
