  1. a good cleaning, reset the float height, and make sure your float is closing. you should be fine. with the bowl off and you carb in place,turn your gas on and hold the float up see if the gas stops leaking. you should be able to see where your problem is. good luck
  2. personally, I would get rid of the rad valve and get delta 2s. I liked them much more than the rad valve. what's a couple more hundred, right. looks great
  3. I would go back to stock gearing, 14/41 and get a set of pipes. you will be amazed. Then try a 15 up front.

  5. I just have the clamp on with no air box and my carb doesn't flop around.

  7. your needle effects 1/4 to3/4 throttle, raising the needle will fatten it up in the middle, your main is 3/4 to wot. I would step that up 1-2 sizes. plugs are cheaper than pistons.
  8. pipes first,then v-force reeds, then timing plate $35 at ricky stator, then mill the head 25-30 thou. then2-1 carb. Just my opinion. I forgot ,lighten your flywheel. But he'll be happy with pipes. also forgot pro flow and k-n
  9. sounds like you need a tierod end, youmight find one cheap on e-bay the sqeeking cuold be wheel bearings.
  10. you need to replace your impeller your overheating, yes that will cause it to sputter, don't ride it untill its fixed. get a manual the repair is easy. good luck

  13. when you say pump gas, is premium available. I believe 20cc domes will work with premium, ask the head manufacture. every machine responds different to mods, I would go up 2 on the mains to start with the v-force. wish I had a lisence plate
  14. Iv'e always run mine at 32-1, never a problem with bearings or rings sticking, just a motor that lasts a long time. I run klotz R-50, but it's kinda pricey. 32-1 4 0z oil 1 gal of gas
  15. is it sputtering or back firing, sounds like it got hot. check your coolant level, if it's backfiring its probably lean. if it's laying down and sputering it's probably fat. double check everything, make sure you have good gas, and try it again. but don't run it out if it's not right, look for the problem Welcome
  16. banshee's aren't the best on fuel,if your going on long rides you would want the big tank. the stock suspension is ok for the average rider.
  17. for $700 i would want to be the one who chips them up. try to get some money back for the used parts.
  18. listen to the advise push the throttle gave you. if your riding in the water and mud, make sure you keep your airbox. maybe look for a good used machine with the mods you want already on it. it will save you money.
  19. even if you get it to idle, with the pilot being to small you will have a huge flat spot when you take off. if you bought the trinity kit you should be able to turn your choke knob to increase your idle. but with the carb not jetted right it's not going to run good

  21. I had the cable stick on mine before and the thumb part still feels like it is working. lubed the cable and the problem was gone. mine got sand in through the throttle switch hole, I have since siliconed the hole closed.
  22. Welcome, I think me and my boy are riding in the snow tommorow. cody has a e-ton viper jr 40. mods are custom pipe by dad.jetted by dad. swingarm mods by dad. and 14/54 gearing.
  23. the v-force 700 is easy to ride handles well and has good power out of the box. by me there selling the 04s for $4995 till the end of the month.
  24. The cv intake is worth getting, don't know about their duals.
  25. Is it hard to start, is the choke tube in place. when everything was reassembled, were new plugs used, new gas, were the carbs cleaned. It really sounds like a air leak.
