Really depends on the rider. My banshee is just piped... and I was spankin my buddies yfz450 with hot cams and full exhaust... but he really didnt know what he was doin really.. i bet an experienced rider with the same setup could have handed me my ass.

I mix mine 32:1 but everyone has their preference.. get a ratio rite.

A buddy of mine has a YFZ450 and its currently jetted perfectly for a FMF Titanium 4 Mid Pipe and Slip-on. He just now purchased the matching header piece for it and is going to need to rejet. Now I know how to jet the banshee... but any idea on how many sizes he will need to go up on the mains for a header piece? I know this is the banshee forum.. but I also know many of you have YFZ450's.

I have both and I've never really paid much attention to it... to me a wheel is a wheel.

I am with Crbanshee... you guys are the reason everything is closing. I dont really care if there is no where legal to ride around where you live. Get a truck and drive somewhere legal... hell I drive 4-5 hours sometimes to get to LEGAL riding spots, you should do the same. We had some "secret spots" here in San Diego, but because of people abusing the law they have all been shut down. People like you are the reasons I am losing my riding spots. Thanks

Look at the slide from the side..... at the bottom, one side will be flat the other side will make a slight u-shape... you cant miss it.

There is indeed such a thing. If I recall there are two methods that work (but dont work very well). One isnt full-duplex, so your downloads will come from the satelite at broadband speeds, but your uploads will be sent out over the phone line via a modem and will only be at max 56K (which isnt really a big issue if you arent hosting things on your pc). Now I have heard that they have 2-way satelite internet, but it doesnt really work all that well. I have actually heard that both methods are crap. Things may be better these days.. but thats what I heard it was like a year ago.

Everyones bike is different but I am at sea level and 310 mains produced a nice plug chop for me. I kept the pilot the same and currently have stock clip position, but its running a little lean in the mid range so Im going to go down another notch. Just slap in some mains.. ride it and tinker with it. when you finally think you have it right do a plug chop.

My banshee is just piped and I was racing a piped '05 YFZ450 over the weekend.. I was spanking him everytime (until the shee started getting hot, then i started suckin big time), i am thinking he wasnt the greatest rider because with my SST's I was taking him outa the hole each time which I really wasnt expecting. Those YFZ450's are fast.. even the 439cc.

Whats your compression on both sides? I think you are seeing normal banshee behavior.. mine does that too.

Stock should be 135PSI... but mainly you want to see that each cylinder is within 10PSI of eachother.

I have a set of almost new stock silencers pm me for details. Probably have less than 10 hours on them.. replaced exhaust with FMF SST.

Are you getting spark on that side? Have you pulled the carbs, checked and cleaned them?

If he has "0" time on a 2-wheeler than I think he should really ride it before adding a thumb throttle to it or at least try the twist first..... i cant quite picture riding a motocycle with a thumb throttle... just doesnt seem like it would feel right.

An Outerwear will help with the dust but K&N filters are known for sucking in dirt. Foam filters work much better in dusty dirty conditions.. K&N's work great in Sandy conditions..... however I do run a K&N and ocasionally ride in dusty conditions and so far no issues.. but i always am thinkin about it.

What kinda of filter are you running? Foam or K&N? You should be cleanining it after every ride anyways (or at least after every trip) You will have to rejet.

Go down and get some Barbie Dolls, Ken Dolls, Whip Cream, and Video Camera.. then you can start filming your own little porns... maybe im a little sick in the head too
