Ok.. needs some thoughts one this one. I just put on my FMF SST's and need some assistance with jetting. Currently I have 310 Mains, Stock Pilot, Stock Needle & Clip Position.
Fires right up and idles fine, but is smoking more than it did before. Now after it warms up, If I pin the throttle with it sitting there (not riding) it revs up maybe 3/4 of the way and just bogs.. with smoke pouring out everywhere!!! Yikes! Think I am a little rich? What should I try first? Dropping a size on the mains, or adjusting the needle position?
I am at sea lvl, 75 degrees.
Side note... whats the best way to change the jets? Currently (no tors) i just loosen the intake boots and swivel the carbs while their still on the bike, is this how you all do it? or is it better to take the carbs off the bike completly to jet?
