Already happens. Carlsbad Raceway was demolished recently so a business park could be built.

I think the fatty's would work fine, they are an all around pipe. However you will just need to ride it and decide for yourself. If you find yourself wanting more low end then the FMF Gnarly''s would be your best bet. But Pipes are all about what YOU like, so just ride the thing and see how you like it.

I really have gotten good results out of my Holeshots, also I know Razr2's are very popular on this forum although I have not tried them yet, I have heard nothing but good responses about both tires. I would definitly go down to a 20" tire unless you really have a reason to be lugging such a big one.

I will give it a shot. Does my plug look a little rich to you? Should I also drop a size on the mains as well?

Hi there, Just slapped on some SST's and took it for a ride. I am getting some really awfull mid throttle bog... almost like it wants to die... and the pipes blued out pretty good on the first ride (which I dont really mind.. i kinda like the look, but I heard it could mean a lean situation). I have 310 Mains, Needle in the 2nd position from the blunt end, airscrews 1 1/2 turns out, stock pilot. Below is my plug chop too. Any suggestions?

Like 94yambanshee said. The idle screws really have nothing to do with the twist throttle, they have to do with the TORS removal. You will want to keep TORS off. Just buy the correct throttle cable and you will be good to go. I use Vitos, but its up to you. Heres the link to Vitos, make sure you look at the correct cable for the correct carb size. Vitos

Airscrews are out 1.5 turns.. i just tried 2 turns.. same thing.. could the needle be too lean? Also.. what do you think of my WOT plugs? Below are the chopped plugs.. and I looking good on them? Thanks for all the help guys.. im new at all this stuff. PS. On my first run with the new pipes.. I met a new shee! WOW do pipes make a hell of a difference!!!

Nevermind.. i got it.. those axle nuts were realy loose... tightened em up per the book.. fixed it.

how to I go about tightening the axel. I have my clymers here.. but it just shows how to remove it... do i just adjust the 2 nuts?

Well.. took it out yesterday + today.. and WOT seems perfect, however 1/2 to 3/4 seems really boggy.. almost dies on me in that range.. .1/4 is fine.. heres what I have: 310 Mains Stock Pilot Stock Needle 2nd position from the blunt end Any suggestions? Also.. I did did a WOT run on new plugs.. and I cannot see any ring in there.. i havent cut the threads off yet... but i can see down there and its all white... possibly my WOT didnt work right? I just pinned it all the way through 6th and held it for about 10 seconds WOT in 6th.. pulled the clutch and killed it.

Hmmm.. yeah mine dont line up is the thing.. should I deflate the tire and rotate it on the rim so it does?

OK.. I am pretty new to the whole sand scene and I have a question about installing paddles. When I put my rear paddles on the bike.. the paddles on the left & right tires dont line up so it wobbles pretty bad when you push it on hard surfaces.. in the sand it seems to work fine... do the rear paddles need to line up with eachother on each tire?

What do your plugs look like? Have you done a plug chop?

I noticed when I put my rear paddles on that when i pushed the bike on a hard pack surface the rear axel would go "klunk klunk klunk"... today I took the paddles off to put my knobbys back on and just to see what was up I grabbed the right rear tire and pulled it.. it moves a little back and forth and goes "klunk klunk klunk" only this side does it.. and it doesnt move very much at all.. maybe 1-2mm... is this something to worry about? This is a new shee with maybe 10 hours on it. Heres a picture (its kinda crappy pic, but its moving just a hair)

I'll be at ocotillo tomorrow night.. probably there at 5pm and will be leaving the next morning before it gets in the 90's. I'm down on going somewhere else too.. but I need to do some WOT runs to test out some jetting changes I made. And Ocotillo is pretty close.

Buy a Idle Screw Kit and install it. I bought the TORS removal kit from Vitos, but sounds like you only need the Idle Screw Kit.. they sell it too. You will have to dill & tap both carbs.. but its pretty simple.

Get a Clymers Manual for it... every banshee owner should have one.

Maybe the float is stuck. Lightly tap the side of the float bowl with the handle of a screwdriver... see if that fixes it.. otherwise you may have to adjust your float height.

I am thinking about hitting up Ocotillo or Glamis this Friday night - Saturday Morning. Anyone else riding this weekend? Got back from Cantamar 2 weeks ago... too small to count as a trip and I am wanting to go ride! Its not supposed to be too hot this weekend out there... highs in the mid 90's lows in the low 60's.
