  1. Give him a call. His number is in my signature. He has great prices and faster turnaround than just about all the other builders. He does top notch work. I wouldn't hesitate to send him any of my parts to work on. Tell him Jared sent ya.
  2. The ladies might like the vibration, but you won't and neither will the rest of your engine parts.
  3. If I bring the short sand car we won't have room for any of the 10mil's. They are all set up for hill-shooting at sand mountain, so I would spend half the time trying to re-gear and jet everything for the conditions and elevation down there. lol! I think the short sand car would be more fun in Oregon than the 10mils would.
  4. First thing you will need is a DC conversion and a battery. Then just find a fan that fits where you want it and wire it up. I've seen a few banshees with fans on them down at Walden on the hillclimbs. If you are jetted correctly and keep air moving across your radiator when you're riding hard it shouldn't be a problem. If you are idling long enough to get your temps up to where you're overheating, then just shut the bike off. lol
  5. The TZ bearing on my 10mil crank has an inner race, the brass holder that keeps the bearings themselves aligned and in place, and an outer race. Hope this helps.
  6. I'll have my 4mil small block twister done by this summers' riding season. Hopefully I run into a couple Serval equipped bikes and we can do some racing and comparing and see how it turns out...
  7. Fail. Everyone and their brother has CP industries stuff.
  8. Kevin at Herr Jugs Racing can take care of you, no problem! Give him a call. Great service and fast shipping! Is your crank welded? If you bent a rod, you'll want to get it re-trued and welded. You will need a press to get it apart and back together correctly. Kevin can order the rod you will need and do the work.
  9. Your photobucket link doesn't work.
  10. Its an old trinity piston. I've seen them in some of the older cheetahs that look like that, and I think some of big bore kits you can buy out of the atv magazines use them...
  11. That's why god invented duct tape and bailing wire. Now go throw a hone at it and put it back together! No excuses! Go!
  12. I've always liked the chinese models more than the eastern European models. The stamped steel MAK-90s have a spring-loaded firing pin and double-hook triggers. The spring-loaded firing pin helps prevent any chance of a slam fire. That's just my opinion though.
  13. Post up the pics and serial number please...
  14. I'm generally not an asshole at all when I ride. LOL! I always take it easy through campgrounds and trails around camp. I'll have to order up some packing and try and get all the toys ready and make it out for this HQ ride...
  15. Its like 32" I think. Maybe 34" can't remember...
  16. Tripple Cylinder with Twister Sniper cylinders. mwahahaha
  17. Thanks Kevin for the ridiculously fast shipping! Anyone who needs porting done with quick turn-around don't hesitate to give Kevin a call! Awesome work on my cylinders man! Thanks! Can't wait to get everything put back together.
  18. Milled or Stamped receiver on the MAK-90. Unless you have the proper paperwork and ATF tax stamp its not an AK its going to be a MAK-90. So, unless you have the wonderful little 3rd position on the fire/safe selector its not a true AK. What's the serial number on it? Is it chinese, yugoslav, bulgarian, etc...? Are the serial numbers matching?
  19. PART IT OUT! It will sell a lot faster.
  20. Its a 78mm bore. The reverse cooling is a very nice benefit.
  21. How much gruff will I get on the sound regulations out there? The bikes I'd be bringing would have FMF's and a bike with shearers and a short sand car. What silencers do you guys up there recommend?
  22. As long as the rear vent is clear, I would say no. I usually block the front one off and ditch the hose coming out of the clutch cover. Look at the aftermarket covers and a lot of them have it removed.
  23. Poor banshee... you're going to have to donate the banshee to me so it gets ridden more often. =)
  24. Jesus... talk about over-paddling a bike. Rippers....
  25. You might want to remove that zip tie before any further assembly. lol
