hate to burst your bubble but the last time I was out there the BLM had most of the trails closed off and blocked with big wood fences. Its pretty much a waste of time to go down there with a banshee any more unless you plan on breaking the rules and going around the fences they put up. Save yourself the time and just drive the extra 1.5hrs and go to KP.

Just get a machine shop to make you a spacer plate to put between the bowl and the car body. Kinda like a reed spacer, but goes between the bowl and carb body to move the bowl down further. Should be cheap for a machine shop to make you some...

Its pretty small, generally over-crowded. There are always drunks riding around every single time I've been there. Camping sites are not maintained. There are three bathrooms that are generally a disasterous mess. Its usually got pretty nice weather with occasional rain storms in the afternoon. There are a crap-load of mosquitos due to the standing water around the dunes. They also have sound regulations that take effect this june. If you're not below 98db I wouldn't bother going. They have rangers who ride around and regularly check your ride for if it meets sound requirements. If not get ready for a healthy ticket. You also have to have a colorado ORV sticker.

What suspension mods you got? A perfect suspension setup can help you pick up quite a bit. You could also swap over to some low-friction bearings on the transmission. You got any trans mods done yet?

Yes, I still have the T5's. You would have to drill 1 hole back around where your rear seat latch is and put a bolt in to hold them. I don't know about the tail light. I don't run lights, so never had to worry about them.
