  1. post up some of your runs with shearers and cpis with big carbs for comparison...
  2. I wrap all my stinger pipes with that header wrap to help protect the filters and electrical lines. - Jared
  3. Big carbs, drag pipes, long swinger, override transmission... your guys' idea of dune riding is probably different than ours up here if thats a dune setup. If the owner is happy with it and its what he wants thats what matters. On a side-note, why the name-change? Jared
  4. That's exactly what I was thinking...
  5. I don't dune ride with a cub... I drag race with it. I have a cheetah for the dunes.
  6. I would like to purchase 3 of them. That's some sweet shit.
  7. 1. remove carbs 2. clean carbs 3. install carbs. lol
  8. Call around and talk to a few builders and see who you like. redline cuts a nice override and so does WCR, Tim @ titan does some great work as well. I have tim @ titan cut my overrides. - Jared
  9. The window is there primarily for oiling of the upper rod bearing. It helps some with crank-case filling too, but there are a lot of pistons out there with no window in them at all. It doesn't affect performance by any noticeable amount. When you open the windows up more you are just weakening the piston and for MAYBE 1hp on the dyno and no gain in seat of the pants riding. - Jared
  10. When you are blowing through the carb breathers you are forcing fuel through your pilot circuit and also up through your main jet circuit. The filter is getting saturated with fuel and when you go to kick it over the next time it fires up because you have all the extra fuel getting into the system. It sounds like your pilot jet is too small. Try and go up a size or two on the pilot jet and see what it does. When was the last time you removed and did a thorough cleaning on your carbs? - Jared
  11. Why the heck would you do a serval with an override? Why not just do a cub... With that carb and pipe choice the serval cylinder seems like the total wrong way to go...
  12. Pretty sure kevin @ HJR can get them for you as well...
  13. Good seller! Pipes came wrapped in bubble wrap and boxed up nice! Thanks man - Jared
  14. I've done this in the past, but you have to be very careful on the amount you use so you don't get the shit up into the bearings... - Jared
  15. Maybe your cases are worn in the bearing area. I've had about 10 different banshees in the last 6 or 7 years and almost all of them used the o-rings on the crank bearings and I never had a problem with any of them. Try and find another set of cases you can try out, or send your crank and cases to a builder and have them check the tolerances if you don't know how or have the tools. Kevin @ HJR can do this for you. He does good work & won't steer you wrong. Thanks - Jared
  16. I've had both setups over the past few years on different banshees and didn't notice any difference between the two. If your system is bled and you have good brakes, there is no difference. - Jared
  17. Ditch the stock air box for some pod filters. Problem solved.
  18. Check your cushions for excessive wear if your basket uses them. Are you sure your crank bearings are all in good shape? Check the idler gear for play on the trans shaft, it will growl a little bit when it starts to get worn out. - Jared
  19. Sounds good man! Post some videos from when you get it out for a ride. - Jared
  20. Like the title says, I need some small-bore, small flange, in-frame shearers. Send me pics and price if you have any for sale. If you're interested in a trade I have some Big-Bore's I would trade. - Jared
  21. Those would be too big for his setup, plus he already has a set of billet bowls for the 34 flat-slides, and they wouldn't fit the 38's. - Jared
  22. nice parts, nice parts, nice parts... T5's! gah! nice parts, nice parts, nice parts.... lol
  23. X2 on that one! I'd toss the trinity JUNK in the trash.
  24. Next time you have it apart put a small medium tension spring on top of the tower the kicker goes on, and double up your o-ring on the bottom of the tower. Grease it up good when you put it together. The spring on top keeps tension against the kicker and it won't rattle any more. A guy named "Holyman" here on HQ came up with the mod years ago. I have two of his kickers and they work great with no rattle. - Jared
