  1. Ditch the 2into1 and get a real setup. That's 100% opinion, no factual basis whatsoever. lol
  2. 20k and the poor bastard can't even afford a nice lockup cover. Jared
  3. Some stuff changed at work for me and now my days off are going to be March 22 to the 31st. I'm still going to be there the same weekend that brandon from Wildcard will be there. I'm probably going to head out thursday night and get as far as i can before I have to stop for some sleep. - Jared
  4. I've been trying to do that for years man. People are scared of a little dirt road and mud to get to the dunes. I actually kinda like it. Least ridden dunes in the country means the dunes are pretty clean and fresh every time us locals go out for a ride... - Jared
  5. Hey man! Definitely hit me up here on HQ or email me at [email protected] before you head to KP and I'll try and meet up with you guys out there! - Jared
  6. LOL, You can have the win this time phelps... but there will be a re-match.
  7. Splitting the cases may seem like a daunting task, but you can handle it with the help of the guys here on HQ. If the shift-rod is stuck, I'm afraid splitting the cases may be your only choice. -Jared
  8. Splitting the cases might be your only option, but its not very difficult. hehehe ball is in your court. LOL - Jared
  9. You trying to buy more parts before march? hehehe
  10. I'm curious where you got the pipes. they look exactly like I set I used to have... Are you on planetsand? - Jared
  11. If your clutch disengagement rod is stuck in the trans shaft and won't budge, you will probably have to split the cases to be able to get to it and drive it out with a screwdriver or something. Its not a hard job to do. - Jared
  12. I'm going to be a dick here and point out that if you can't figure out what bore/stroke/rod combo and what mods work with what parts.... you probably shouldn't be trying to build the stuff in the first place. If someone did make a write-up like you're talking about it would be full of conflicting opinions. I can set up a 10mil cub for dune riding and a stock-stroke stock cyl for drag racing. It wouldn't tell you what cylinders do what and what mods work with what cylinders, because its a constant variable situation dependant on what the end-user is trying to do with the stuff.
  13. Kicker gear is connected to the back of the clutch basket, which is connected to the pto shaft and transmission. Its impossible to say what happened until you at least pull the clutch cover off and see whats going on in there. Might be an easy fix, might be a total bottom end re-build. Tough to say.
  14. That's already done for you.... http://www.cpindinc.com/pub/part_list?manufacturer=3
  15. I got a dune frame down to 44lbs. We can mod yours the same as the one you saw in my shop today.

  17. Too bad its got that big gay-ass logo on it or you'd have a better time selling it. lol
  18. I think there was a post about this about a month ago and I took the time to post pics of all the different cylinders out there. Do a quick search and you might be able to find it. - Jared
  19. Well said cam.
  20. mcnasty, ask around, I'm sure there are guys on here who live near you who would help you tear it down and check it out for a case of beer & pizza. - Jared
  21. Yes, it can cause more problems, depending on what the problem actually is. Don't pay a shop to do it. Its easy stuff. Probably hardest thing you will have to deal with is removing the big clutch nut. You will need an impact or a clutch-holding tool. If you don't have the tools I suppose you will need to pay a shop, but it really is an easy job to do. Ask around here on HQ and see if someone from the board lives near you that can come over and help. Where do you live? - Jared
  22. x2 on removing the inner seal and greasing the shit out of it.
  23. PICS OR GTFO. Also, post your location!
  24. We are just giving you some shit man. The work looks good for your first set.
  25. Pull your clutch cover off and remove your cluch/clutch basket. Inspect the shift shaft and shift-star mechanism. Chances are its getting worn out. I have also seen the little nub on the clutch cover that holds the shift shaft in place get worn out and cause this type of problem. In any case, you will need to remove the clutch cover and clutch to inspect the shifting mechanism. If you don't see anything wrong there, get ready to split the cases. I have a link to a bottom end assembly in my signature if you need any pics or help. - Jared
