  1. SAND! SAND! SAND! SAND! SAND! SAND! SAND! SAND! SAND! SAND! SAND!
  2. He was a cool guy but you had to see this one comming. Its like playing with fire then wondering why you get burned. He was always around dangerous animals, antagonising them sometimes. Odd that a stingray got him, but I knew it would be some animal that would get him in the end.
  3. I've got some in-frame unstamped CPI SB pipes in the for sale section. Check the parting out ol blue post. Pics are there too.
  4. Bump! Still have pipes, carbs, billet intakes...
  5. That's what I'm doing! I'm keeping the shee though. I will eventually put a new engine in the shee, might be later this year though. Right now I'm building up the 450. Going with a turbo setup on the 450. Ha Ha Then probably a 10 or 14mil cheetah for the shee. Do it ellison, sell some parts and get that four stroke!
  6. Go with T5's instead of T6's. Later on when you get some porting you will be much happier.
  7. Cubs........................................ SOLD VForce Reeds........................... SOLD Cool Head w/ Domes............... SOLD 4mm Longrod Crank................ SOLD Pistons.................................... SOLD Everything else is still around. Here's pics of the carbs and pipes. I'm not going to BS anyone about condition of anything. I won't dick you around. If you have questions about anything just ask. Carbs.... The left-hand carb choke lever is melted a little from the pipe hitting it. Doesn't affect function, choke lever works fine. Both carbs have had one float removed. Pipes.... Prety good condition over-all. Blemishes and marks on the inside of both pipes. Stingers are beat up pretty good. Both pipes have rub marks from where the expansion chambers hit the head. They have marks on the inside where wires fell against the pipes and melted. The out-side edge (side that everyone will see when mounted up) look great, no dents, no melt-marks. There are some small marks by where the stingers meet the expansion chambers from pants rubbing. One stinger has a really big black mark from where an outer wear melted against it. One silencer also had the mount crack completely off and it was crapily welded back on. Doesnt look the greatest but it works... Here's the side of the pieps everyone will see when mounted up on your shee. Marks from pants. Mark from rubbing on head. Mark from rubbing on head and where wires fell and melted on inside of pipe. First Gen. Unstamped CPI's are notorious for cracking upper mounts. These have been re-welded a couple times. You can send them to CPI and they will fix them, I never bothered to do it. Stingers... Crappy Weld. (aluminum) Dunno what this is from, was on there when I got the pipes. This is where an outerwear melted to the pipe. It is on the inside edge of the pipe and cannot be seen from the outside or when mounted up on your shee.
  8. Toss me an offer and we can go from there. Run through and add up what I had for prices on the stuff above. I would probably knock off quite a bit if you wanted the whole thing. It would make my life a lot easier as well.
  9. .030" is a good starting point.
  10. When your leg falls off I will come pick up your banshee and put a new top end in it and jet it correctly. LOL
  11. It also depends on what surface you are riding. A banshee with decent power will try to spin the tires a lot more than wheelie. Just the way they are. Get a cub and keep your stock swinger if you want to do wheelies. LOL
  12. Sounds to me like you shouldn't be playing around with something that you don't even know how it works. LOL
  13. Drawing is over people. Read through the thread. Plate is in the mail jake!
  14. On to my next project. I'm keeping the frame and everything rolling chassis-wise. Only parting out the engine. I will snap pics tomarrow for anyone who wants them. Gotta sell this stuff to start buying parts for the next buildup. Going big on the 450 next. Mwahahahahaha! All Prices include shipping to lower 48. If you are in canada or somewhere else ask me for a shipping quote. Paypal only. I have a certified paypal address. I'm located in Rock Springs, WY. K&T Ported Cub. 65mm Bore Stock Stroke. Used quite a bit, but they still show the original hone marks. I've got probably 90-100hrs on this set of cubs. They run great, nothing wrong with them, they are just used. $550 4mm Stroke 5mm Longrod Crank, good bearings both sides. The flywheel side looks a little beat up from a timing key that broke off, but does not affect performance or how the flywheel mounts whatsoever. $280 Cool Head (will need new o-rings) Comes with set of standard 18cc domes $150 If you want my top end + Crank you can get the K&T Cub, Cool Head with my custom cut stroker domes, and I will throw in the pistons matched to the cubs. They are 795 Series pistons, New Rings put in two weeks ago. It has 180lbs compression in the right cylinder and 177lbs in the left as well as the stroker crank. $950 VForce 3 Reeds (new petals a month ago) $150 Keihin 33 PWK Carbs (one float has been removed from each carb) Comes with thumb throttle cable $200 K&T Billet Intakes w/ built-in o-ringed crossover tube $135 Modded Shift Star $35 Stock Flywheel $40 Reed Spacers $20 White Show Chrome Unstamped CPI SB In-Frame Drag Pipes (front mounts have cracked and been welded, did not affect chrome on main pipe body) The stinger pipe section has melted plastic marks from hoses/filters/crap under the frame (these marks are hidden under your plastic when mounted up) The left pipe has a small mark right where it meets the stinger from melted pants. Both pipes rub the head and have rub marks on the inside, but you can't see it at all when they are mounted up. The rear mount on the right-side stinger cracked off and has been welded really crapily (they are aluminum mounts) $350 Clutch Basket / Outer Pressure Plate, rod, bearing... all that clutch stuff. $125 Cases Small crack right above case guard. Finially broke a chain and the case gaurd worked for the most part, but flexed up just enough to put pressure on the case and crack it a little. Small crack, doesn't go throw to anything inside. $175 Transmission (both gear sets, shift drum, forks, fork rods) $200 Kicker gear/spring $50 Billet Water Pump Impeller $50 Billet Flaming Skull Water Pump Cover $30 Billet Flaming Skull Clutch Cover $30 Clutch Cover (most of the paint has been removed with a wire-wheel, comes with Billet dipstick) $70 EDIT: Forgot the Billet Aluminum Case Guard... $35 If you are intersted in combining anything let me know and I can probably knock some $$ off the price for package deals. Also, make some offers if you think I'm too high on anything. I'm not looking to make much profit off any of this crap, I'm going to turn around and buy more parts with any money I make from selling this stuff. - Jared
  15. I have them between the main frame and the lower mounting point on the sub-frame. Where the two parts of the sub-frame meet back by the grab bar, under the front engine mount, behind the shock tower mounts going from the vertical below the shock mount to the horizontal frame rail beside the shock mount, across (left to right) the sub-frame under the seat, up from the horizontal frame rail to the steering tower, and a backbone gusset along the back of the steering tower, also have the front steering stop gusseted, and where the steering shaft mounts to the tower is gusseted. I've flipped the shit out of my banshee and nothing has cracked or broken. If you do the sub-frame right and you stand it up, the rear grab bar should bust off the frame and nothing on the sub-frame should bend. Grind the grab bar mounts and weld them back on and your good to go. hehe
  16. I am at 7500ft and I have 175psi right now. I made my own domes though and I haven't checked to see what CC they are. lol
  17. BAD IDEA! That roller is there for a reason. Yank it and you will find yourself with a thrown chain, really worn sprockets, and think about what that stress does to the bearing on the output shaft when you remove that roller. Duh!
  18. For this timing plate. Next week is going to be a stock head (milled if the winner wants it to be milled) and the week after that I might do another timing plate. Just watch for a post similar to this one.
  19. I will probably do another drawing with them another time. Jake! PM me your address. If I don't hear from you by middle of next week I will just draw another name.
  20. No problem, no offense on my part either. LOL Damn internet. For conditions without fine particles or silt a K&N and outerwear is good, if you ride in anything that has really fine particles or silt, foam is better. Whichever way you go, keep it clean! hehe
  21. If your in it for speed get some cubs on your next rebuilt. Mwahahahahahaha!
  22. I second the pulse pump option. I'm putting one of those on my 7mil this winter. Runs off the intake pulses. Involves drilling / tapping threads into one or both of your intake tracks though.
  23. This was the case with me as well. Certain sprocket combos just wouldn't reach no matter what i did. It pissed me off a lot. I got a roundhouse now and I can run whatever I want. Love it.
  24. OK, its 10:00 my time and I'm tired as shit and have to work tomarrow so I did the drawing a few min ago. Winner is.... jakehopt Send me a PM with your name / address and I will get it shipped out to ya! Thanks to everyone for playing, sorry if you didn't win. May you all have better luck on the next drawing! Next drawing will be for a stock banshee head. I can mill it down or send it totally stock, winners choice. Next drawing starts next week some time. I will make another post when it starts. thanks! - Jared
