  1. All they are there for is to reduce noise. Toss them in the trash.
  2. 2nd vote for the dremel. I've used a dremel for that before. We used the carbide cutting tool and just cut it down real thin in one spot then smacked it with a hammer and chisel and split the nut. Didn't hurt the threads much at all. Chased them with a reversed castle nut and it worked great!
  3. My chrome shop won't do used pipes. You have to find a way to clean them before sending them to them. If they are brand new pipes with no goo in them, they can chrome them. If I had a chrome shop I wouldn't want that pipe goo in my shit. No way!
  4. If you already have a dremel, do the timing plate mod. Simple and you will notice the gain. LOL, take your head off and spend a week sanding it down .030" for some more compression.
  5. Jump over to dunereview and there is a guy over there who built his own with parts from home depot or some shit, worked great. I say just blow some air in there and stick your thumb in the spark plug hole. If your ears pop when you blow, its good. :baseball_bat: Have you had any reason to think its leaking? When you comming to KP biach?
  6. Ha Ha! Oh so true.
  7. His stock bong is making 10-person hooka sized hits.
  8. I only burned my leg once or twice when I was wearing shorts. After that I learned where to and where not to put my legs. If you burn yourself on your pipes like every time you ride, maybe you should consider stock pipes. HA Ha!

  10. I second that one! Now all I need is a big-ass chunk of billet block. mwahahahahahahaha!
  11. Dremel / Grinder here.
  12. I second that motion! I run the billet impeller and kept my plastic junk as a spare if something ever happened.
  13. Depends on what you are after. I ran stock shocks on my +2+1's for about 4 months and kinda liked it. Made the ride nice and smooth since you had a lot more leverage on the shocks. If you jump though its a bad idea, they will bottom out easily. If you are just cruising around or doing trails they are pretty nice. It is a good idea to get shocks and suspension parts all at the same time though.
  14. Looks like what I have and mine work fine. Getting to be about time to replace my ball joints though. I'm thinking about doing some modifications to them to run heim joints. If you have the extra cash go with heim joints.
  15. All those questions have been answered here at the HQ more than a few times. Do a search. Besides if the kid runs it in his bike and fucks it up its his fault not yours. HE shouldn't be buying shit he doesn't know how to use. Plain and simple. I'm sick of people getting banshees and fucking them up because they don't know how to take care of a two-stroke or how they work. Some people should just stick with polaris. (talking about the kid, not you... but what are you doing with a shaved head if you didn't know about what it does or what it changes?)
  16. You are actually the first person I have heard of that has had that little guy fail. I have no idea what its like to replace it. Shouldn't be too hard.
  17. Yep, sure could! That's one thing that it would probably be easier and cheaper to just buy some and drill em out.
  18. yes, correct. You are probably just missing something simple. When that sort of thing happens to me I take everything out and start over fresh after a good nights sleep. Take your time and make sure everything is hooked up correctly.
  19. Because I would win all the time. Ha Ha Ha Ha! Bring on the shit-talk bitches!
  20. If money was not issue yo momma is what I would roll with. AHHAAH Sorry I'm tired and starting to get weird. You gonna come up to the ranch this weekend or what?
  21. www.yfzcentral.com those guys sell them cheap all the freaking time.
  22. Get the bare ones and send them to me before you run them, my chromer has 1 week turnaround. If you've run them though he won't take them, must be clean inside.
  23. "Finger" tight will fall right out first time you run it. The vibrations will back it out real easy. Get a torque rench and torque it to like 10 ft-lbs or so. Or just go a little tight with your socket rench.
  24. It all depends on what you are doing with it and where you feel comfortable. I've run all the way from 13/44 to 15/40. I run 14/42 right now and kinda like it, but when I go to walden I will drop down to a 13 in front.
